To enable your product to give you many years of perfect trouble free service, we recommend you to carefully follow the instructions of the manual.

• Read and follow all the instructions in this important instructions even if you are familiar with the product, and find a place to keep it handy for future reference.
• Your attention is drawn particularly to the sections concerning “important instructions”, “important safeguards”, and the “warranty”.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience or knowledge unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• Do not operate any product with a damaged cord or plug, or after the product malfunction, or is dropped or appears damaged in any way.
• To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not immerse or expose the product or flexible cord to rain, moisture or any liquid other than those necessary for correct operation of the product.
• This product should not be used in the immediate vicinity of water, such as bathtub, washbowls or any other vessel containing water or other liquids, or when standing in/on a damp or wet surface.
• Switch off and unplug from outlet when not in use, before assembling or disassembling parts and before cleaning. Remove by grasping the plug-do not pull on the cord.
• Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table, counter or touch hot surface.
• Do not use the appliance for other than its intended use.
• Do not leave the appliance unattended when switched on.
• Do not operate or place any part of the product on or near any hot surfaces (such as a gas or electric burner or hotplate or in a heated oven).
• Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or bench or touch any hot surfaces.
• The use of attachments or accessories not recommended may cause personal or property hazards or injuries.
• Avoid touching hot surfaces, use handles and knobs.
• This product is intended for household use only.
• Do not attempt to repair the appliance yourself, instead take it to the authorised Havells service centre.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

Read all instructions

• Make sure the voltage in your outlet is the same as the voltage indicated on the appliance’s rating label.
• Use only for household.
• Do not touch hot Plates surfaces. Use handle.
• To protect acainst risk of electric shock, do not immerse the cord, plug or cooking unit in water or any other liquid.
• Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
• Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning appliance.
• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged has malfunctioned or has been damaged in any manner. In order to avoid the risk of an electric shock, never try to repair the Grill Sandwich Maker yourself. Take it to an authorized service station for examination and repair. An incorrect reassembly could present a risk of electric shock when the Grill Sandwich Maker is used.
• The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the manufacturer may result in fire, electrical shock, or risk of injury to persons.
• Do not use outdoors or for commercial purposes.
• Do not let power cord hang over the edge of the table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
• Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner or heated oven.
• Do not intend to operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.
• Unplug the unit when finished usinc

BEFORE FIRST USE

• Read all instructions carefully and keep them for future reference.
• Remove all packaginc
• Clean the Cooking Plates by wiping a sponge or cloth dampened in warm water.
• Do not immerse the unit and do not run water directly ont the cooking surfaces.
• Dry with a cloth or paper towel.
• For best results, lightly coat the cooking plates with a little cooking oil or cookinc spray.

Notice: When your Grill Sandwich Maker is heated for the first time, it may emit slight smoke or odor. This is normal with many heating appliances. This does not affect the safety of your appliance.

HOW TO USE

• Close the Grill Sandwich Maker and plug it into the wall outlet, you will notice that the power and ready licht will come on, indicating that the Grill Sandwich Maker has begun preheating.
• It will take approximately 2 minutes to 4 minutes to reach baking temperature, the ready light will goes off.
• Open the lid, put the bread other foods on the bottom cooking plate.
• Close the lid. The ready light will go on again.
• Cook for about 2 minutes to 4 minutes the ready licht goes off again, or until golden brown, adjusting the time to suit your own individual taste.
• When the foods is cooked use the handle to open the lid. Remove the foods with the help of a plastic spatula. Never use metal tongs or a knife as these can cause damage to the non-stick coating of the cook plates.
• Once you are finished cooking, disconnect the plug from the wall outlet and leave unit open to cool.

CLEANING AND CARE

• Always unplug the Grill Sandwich Maker and allow it to cool before cleaning. The unit is easier to clean when slightly warm. There is no need to disassemble Grill Sandwich Maker for cleaning. Never immerse the Grill Sandwich Maker in water or place in dishwasher.
• Wipe cooking plates with a soft to remove food residue. For baked on food residue squeeze some warm water mixed with detergent over the food residue then clean with a non abrasive plastic scouring pad or place wet kitchen paper over the grill to moisten the food residue.
• Do not use anything abrasive that can scratch or damage the non-stick coating.
• Do not use metal utensils to remove your foods, they can damage the non-stick surface.
• Wipe the outside of the Grill Sandwich Maker with a damp cloth only. Do not clean the outside with any abrasive scouring pad or steel wool, as this will damage the finish. Do not immerse in water or any other liquid.
• Do not place in the dishwasher.
• Remove and empty the drip tray after each use and wash the tray in warm, soapy water. Avoid the use of scouring pads or harsh detergents as they may damage the surface. Rinse and dry thorouchly with a clean, soft cloth and replace.

STORAGE

• Always unpluc the Grill Sandwich Maker before storage.
• Always make sure the Grill Sandwich Maker is cool and dry before string.

WARRANTY TERMS AND CONDITIONS*

Havells India Ltd. (“Company”) hereby offers a limited warranty (“Warranty”) for this Product purchased in India, against manufacturing defects for a period of 2 (two) years from the date of invoice.

To avail Warranty services, customer can loc in his requests with the customer care cell and must present original invoice and wherever possible original Warranty Certificate (duly signed and stamped by the Sellinc Dealer) to the Authorised Service Representative.

This Warranty is for repair or replacement of parts only and the decision to either repair or replace shall be sole discretion of the Company. All recommendations and decisions of the Company and its Authorised Service Representative shall be binding and complied by the customer to continue to avail Warranty services.

Warranty of repaired and replaced part shall thereafter continue only for unexpired period of Warranty and defective spare part shall be property of Company or its Authorized Service Partner during Warranty Period.

Company will not be liable for any delay or failure in performance resulting from causes beyond its control including non-availability of any part, labour problem, restrictions and regulations of the government, public movement, war and any other unavoidable/unforeseen circumstances including any force majeure event, specially vis-a-vis the import of supplies and raw material. It is clarified that the Company will not be responsible towards the customer for any economic loss, commercial loss, consequential or resulting liability, damage to the property or any other harm or loss on account of the Product.

Warranty excludes or does not apply:

• If the Product is serviced or repaired by any person other than the Authorized Service Representative of the Company.
• If customer violates Warranty Terms and Conditions, instruction manual guidelines, recommendations of Authorised Service Representative and/or operates the Product otherwise than as per Product specifications.
• If the serial number affixed on the Product is damaged, erased or tampered with or if Product is refurbished/modified.
• If the Product is operated in conditions otherwise than normal conditions (e.g., abnormal voltage surge, extreme environmental conditions etc.).
• If the Product is used for any commercial purpose.
• Any harm caused due to accident, neglicence, improper maintenance, mishandling, tampering, incurred in transit by the customer or which can be attributed to the fault of the customer.
• Any harm resulting from any unforeseeable circumstances such as force majeure event etc.
• Any harm caused due to any defect in any electrical/civil installation(s), wiring or third party products.
• Any damage to the Product due to household pets, rodent or any other insect/animals.
• Consumable parts of the Product.
