PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The Apptricity Long-Range with GPS Bluetooth tag is intended for Asset tracking. The range of the transmitted Bluetooth signal is up to 9 miles (14.4 km) line of sight. The transmission rate can be set from a ping once per second to a ping of once per 145 hours. The Long-Range with GPS Bluetooth Tag requires two CR2477 batteries. Batteries are customer replaceable. The lifetime of the battery is determined by the ping rate. The ping rate is set when the tag is manufactured.

BATTERY REPLACEMENT

The Long-Range with GPS Bluetooth tag battery replacement is demonstrated below.

Step 1: Remove the 4 screws from the top of the case.

Step 2: Remove the lid with attached pcb from the case

Step 3: Remove both batteries.

Step 4: Insert new batteries with positive sides up (very important) and negative sides againstApptricity-550-135-100-Long-Range-with-GPS-Bluetooth-

Step 5: Put the top back onto the case bottom.

Step 6: Replace the four screws to attach the top to the bottom of the case.
