PRECAUTIONS TO AVOID POSSIBLE EXPOSURE TO EXCESSIVE MICROWAVE ENERGY

Do not attempt to operate this oven with the door open, since this can result in harmful exposure to microwave energy. It is important not to break or tamper with the safety interlocks.
Do not place any object in front of the oven door, and check if the sealing surfaces are clear of any possible soil or cleaner residue. Do not operate this unit if you suspect any damage. Be certain that the door is closed properly with no defects on the hinges and the door seals.
This device should only be repaired by qualified technicians.
Do not operate the microwave oven when it is empty. There is a risk of fire and damage to the appliance.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS WARNING

To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, injury to people or exposure to excessive microwave oven energy when using your appliance, follow basic precautions, including the following.

WARNING:

WARNING – This device is for household use only.
Liquids and foods should not be heated in sealed containers, as there is a serious risk of their explosion.
It is hazardous for anyone other than a competent person to carry out any service or repair operation that involves the removal of a cover which gives protection against exposure to microwave energy.
The appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Keep this device and its power cord away from minors that are under the age of 8 years old.
Minors should be supervised while using this device at all times, confirming its correct operation.
Only use utensils that are suitable.
The oven should be cleaned regularly.
When heating food in plastic or paper containers, be extra cautious, of a potential fire hazard. Once completed, clean the oven of any possible residues.
Any detection of smoke, should result in the immediate termination of operation, powering off and unplugging the unit. Keep the door shut to detain possible fumes or flames.
It is advised never to overcook food.
Do not use the oven cavity for storage purposes.
Remove wire twist-ties and metal handles from paper or plastic containers/bags before placing them in the oven.
Install or locate this oven only in accordance with the installation instructions provided.
Goods with a hard peel such as potatoes or chestnuts, should be slightly punctured prior to cooking or warming up, for better results
It is not advised to heat nor cook eggs in microwave ovens, as there is the possibility they might explode even after being removed from the oven.
The microwave oven should not be operated empty, or with a very small amount of food, as there is the possibility of a spark or even fire.
Do not cook bacon directly on the tray. Excessive local heat can break the tray.
This unit is not intended to prepare preserve food, as the boiling point could differ from food to food.
Be extra cautious when warming baby foods. The lid from the jars and the bottles should be removed. Prior to baby feeding, mix very well to achieve a homogeneous temperature.
The temperature on the surface of the unit, while in operation, could possibly rise. The power cord should be kept away from the heated surfaces at all times. Vents should never be covered.
To avoid the possibility of a potential burning, mix all liquid foods well, prior to placing in the oven. Repeat during its heating and once again prior to removing from the oven.
Avoid using fat for frying
Objects that are fitted to be used in microwave ovens may be very warm, once cooking is complete, be extra cautious when removing. The use of a towel is advised.
WARNING: Never use the oven to dry clothes or pets.
The microwave should not be placed in a closet.
This device is not intended for usage with an external timer or a remote control system.
During its operation, the unit may reach very high temperatures. Be cautious when touching the inside of the oven. This unit should be kept away from young children
No steam cleaner may be used to clean the appliance.

MICROWAVE OVEN COOKING INSTRUCTIONS

Carefully place the food in the microwave. The smallest portions of food on a dish should be placed on the outer part.
Be observant of the cooking time. Add the least amount of time to be cooked and if needed once completed add more time. Overcook food may cause smoke.
A special, microwave friendly, food cover is advised. Covering the content, prevents possible food splashes due to the heating, and assists in better cooking results.
The food should be turned over more than once, while cooking, for better heating results.
In the event the unit is operating with the door open, power off and unplug.

USEFUL INSTRUCTIONS

The ideal material for use in a microwave oven is transparent, allowing microwaves to pass through and heat the food.
Microwaves cannot penetrate metal, so metal appliances or decorative plates should not be used in the microwave.
Operating with the use of paper cups or plates, should be short time, and always supervised.
Do not use recycled paper products when cooking with microwaves as they may contain small pieces of metal and cause sparks or even fire
Round or oval dishes, especially for use in a microwave oven, are recommended as the edges tend to be cooked faster.
Do not use aluminum foil or other metal utensils to heat or cook food.

CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS

The following parts of the microwave oven should be cleaned on a regular basis to prevent grease and food residue build-ups.

Inside and outside surfaces
Door and door seals
Glass tray and rolling rings

Always ensure that the door seals are clean and the door closes properly. Failure to maintain the oven in a clean condition could lead to deterioration of the surface that could adversely affect the operation of the appliance and possibly result in a hazardous situation.

Clean the outside surfaces with a soft cloth and warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry.
Remove any splashes or stains on the inside surfaces or on
the rolling ring with a soapy cloth. Rinse and dry.
To remove any unwanted food particles and smells, place a cup of diluted lemon juice in the oven and operate the unit for ten minutes. 4. Remove and wash the glass tray when necessary.

WARNING: Do NOT spill water in the vents.

WARNING: Do NOT use any abrasive products or chemical solvents. Take particular care when cleaning the door seals to ensure that no particles accumulate preventing the door from closing.

Do not clean the appliance by spraying water directly on it.
Do not use gasoline or alcohol to clean the appliance. It may cause color change, deformation, damage, electric shock or fire.
Before cleaning or maintenance, unplug the appliance and remove any food residue from the door and baking part. Failure to do so may result in electric shock or fire.
Do not use hard cleaners with abrasive or sharp metal scrapers to clean the glass door of the oven door, as it may scratch the surface and cause the glass to break
Do not use the microwave to dry paper or clothes.
For your safety, do not use pressure water purifiers or steam sprayers.
Do not clean the device with a steam cleaner. It may cause corrosion.

GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS

Before operating the microwave, make sure that it is properly grounded. The microwave has a cable that has a ground wire and a plug. In the event of a voltage fluctuation, grounding will prevent possible electric shock. For the operation of the microwave oven, it is recommended to connect the plug to an outlet and not to a power outlet with other electrical appliances.

CAUTION: Improper use of the grounded outlet can cause electric shock.

Note:

If you have any questions about grounding or other instructions, consult a qualified technician.

INTERFERENCES

1. Operating the microwave oven may interfere with your radio, television or other devices.
2. Interference may be reduced or even eliminated by following the below measures:
– Clean the door as well as the insulation surfaces.
– Relocate the radio or TV antenna.
– Move the microwave to another location.
– Connect the microwave oven to a different power socket from other devices.

SETTING UP YOUR OVEN

Glass Tray Installation

a. Never place the glass tray upside down. The glass tray should never be restricted.
b. Both glass tray and rolling ring assembly must always be used during cooking.
c. All food and containers of food are always placed on the glass tray for cooking.
d. If glass tray or rolling ring assembly cracks or breaks, contact your nearest authorized service center.

Remove all packing material and accessories. Examine the oven for any damage such as dents or broken door. Do not install if oven is damaged.

Cabinet: Remove any protective film found on the microwave oven cabinet surface.

WARNING: The light brown Mica cover which is located on the oven cavity, should never be removed. Its purpose is to protect the magnetron.

INSTALLATION

Select a level surface that provides enough open space for the intake and/or outlet vents.
1. The installation height is 85cm to avoid possible contact with children.
2. The rear surface of appliance shall be placed against a wall. Leave a minimum clearance of 30cm above the oven, a minimum clearance of 20cm is required between the oven and any adjacent walls.

3. Do not remove the legs from the bottom of the oven.
4. Blocking the intake and/ or outlet openings can damage the oven.
5. Place the oven as far away from radios and TV as possible. Operation of microwave oven may cause interference to your radio or TV reception.
Plug your oven into a standard household outlet. Be sure the voltage and the frequency is the same as the voltage and the frequency on the rating label.

WARNING: Do not install the oven over a range cooktop or other heat- producing appliance. If installed near or over a heat source, the oven could be damaged and the warranty would be void.

The accessible surface may be hot during operation.

OPERATING YOUR MICROWAVE OVEN

This microwave oven incorporates modern electronic control adjusting your cooking parameters, to achieve optimal cooking.

Note: When you plug in the microwave oven, the screen will display “0:00” and the unit will beep once.

Clock Setting

While unit is in standby, press the “Timer/Clock” button once to set the clock. The display will indicate “00:00” and the hour figure will flash.
Turn the knob selector ” ” to adjust the hour figure (00~23). Press the “Timer/Clock” button to confirm Hours setting, the minute figure will flash.
Turn the knob selector ” ” to adjust the minute figure (00~59). Press the “Timer/Clock” button to confirm Minutes setting.
If “Stop/Clear” button is pressed, the unit will return to previous state automatically.

Timer

While unit is in standby, press the “Timer/Clock” button twice to set the Timer. The display will indicate “00:00”.
Turn the knob selector ” ” to adjust the Timer (0~95 minutes).
Press the ” Start/+30Sec./Confirm” button to start the Timer.
When the timer reaches its set time, the microwave oven will beep 5 times

Note: The display will continue to indicate the time, given the digital clock has been set properly.

Microwave Cooking

While unit is in standby, press the “Microwave” button once to set the microwave cooking program. “P100” will flash on the display
Turn the knob selector ” ” or press again the “Microwave” button to adjust the microwave’s power setting (P10 to P100, as in table 1). Press the “Start/+30Sec./Confirm” button to confirm power setting
Turn the knob selector ” ” to adjust the cooking time (time setting up to 95 minutes, step increment as in table 2). Press the “Start/+30Sec./Confirm” button to confirm cooking time and start the program.

Quick Microwave Cooking

While unit is in standby, press the “Start/+30Sec./Confirm” button to immediately start cooking under the following settings: microwave 100% power, 30 seconds timer.
Press the “Start/+30Sec./Confirm” button again to increase by 30 seconds the cooking time. Repeat as many times as needed (maximum timer setting up to 95 minutes).

Alternatively:

Turn the knob selector ” ” to the left to select the cooking
time directly, then press the “Start/+30Sec./Confirm” button once to immediately start cooking under the following settings: microwave 100% power, 30 seconds timer
Press the “Start/+30Sec./Confirm” button again to increase by 30 seconds the cooking time. Repeat as many times as needed (maximum timer setting up to 95 minutes).

Grill Cooking

While unit is in standby, press the “Grill/Combi.” button once to set the grill cooking program. “G-1” will flash on the display. Press the “Start/+30Sec./Confirm” button to confirm the “G-1” (grill) program.
Turn the knob selector ” ” to adjust the cooking time (time setting up to 95 minutes, step increment as in table 2). Press the “Start/+30Sec./Confirm” button to confirm cooking time and start the program.
Note: The microwave will beep twice once half of the set time has passed; this is a reminder to turn the prepared food on its other side for universal cooking. It is recommended to turn the prepared food on its other side for better results. Once you turn over, shut the door and press “Start/+30Sec./Confirm” for the program to continue.

Convection Cooking (with Preheating)

Convection cooking allows you to cook your food as you would with a traditional convection oven. During convection cooking, the microwaves are not activated. It is recommended to preheat the oven to the appropriate temperature prior to placing the food in the oven.

While unit is in standby, press the “Convection” button once
to set the convention cooking program. “150” will flash on the display.
Turn the knob selector ” ” or press the “Convection” button again to adjust the cooking temperature (temperature setting can be from 150°C to 240°C). Press the “Start/+30Sec./Confirm” button to confirm the temperature setting.
Press the “Start/+30Sec./Confirm” button again to start the preheating. Once preheating has reached desired temperature the microwave oven will beep twice to inform you to add the prepared food into the microwave oven. The preheating temperature will flash on the display. Add the desired food in the microwave oven and shut the door.
Turn the knob selector ” ” to adjust the cooking time and press the “Start/+30Sec./Confirm” button to confirm your selection. The program will start.

Convection Cooking (Without Preheating)

While unit is in standby, press the “Convection” button once to set the convention cooking program. “150” will flash on the display. Press the “Start/+30Sec./Confirm” button to confirm the convection program (the “150” indication will stay on the display).
Turn the knob selector ” ” to adjust the cooking temperature (temperature setting can be from 150°C to 240°C). Press the “Start/+30Sec./Confirm” button to confirm the temperature setting
Turn the knob selector ” ” to adjust the cooking time and press the “Start/+30Sec./Confirm” button to confirm your selection. The program will start.

Combination Cooking

While unit is in standby, press the “Grill/Comb.” button once to set the combination cooking program. “G-1″ will flash on the display. Turn the knob selector ” ” to select the combination program from C-1 to C-4 (as in table 3)
Press the “Start/+30Sec./Confirm” button to confirm the combination program.
Turn the knob selector ” ” to adjust the cooking time (time setting up to 95 minutes, step increment as in table 2) and press the “Start/+30Sec./Confirm” button to confirm your selection. The program will start.

Defrost (by Weight)

While unit is in standby, press the “Defrost” button once to set the defrost by weight program. “d-1” will appear on the display.
Turn the knob selector ” ” to select the weight of the food (weight setting can be from 100g to 2000g).(this setting can be adjusted from 100g to 2000g)
Press the “Start/+30Sec./Confirm” button to confirm your selection. The program will start.

Defrost (by Time)

While unit is in standby, press the “Defrost” button twice to set the defrost by time program. “d-2” will appear on the display.
Turn the knob selector ” ” to select the time of the defrost (time setting up to 95 minutes, step increment as in table 2).
Press the “Start/+30Sec./Confirm” button to confirm your selection. The program will start.

Dual Stage Cooking

Dual Stage Cooking allows two programs to operate in succession. If one of the programs is defrosting, then it should be placed at the initial stage. Once each operation is complete the microwave oven will beep informing, while the next program will begin automatically.

Note: Timer, Quick Menu and Preheating are not available in Dual Stage Cooking.

Example of Dual Stage Cooking with 5 minutes defrost and then 7 minutes of microwave cooking:

While unit is in standby, press the “Defrost” button twice to set the defrost by time program. “d-2” will appear on the display.
Turn the knob selector ” ” to adjust the time of the defrost to 5 minutes.
Press the “Microwave” button to start set the microwave cooking program. “P100” will flash on the display.
Press the “Start/+30Sec./Confirm” button to confirm the microwave cooking program. The “P100” indication will show on the display.
Turn the knob selector ” ” to select 80% microwave power (the “P80” indication will stay on the display). Press the “Start/+30Sec./Confirm” button to confirm the power setting.
Turn the knob selector ” ” to adjust the cooking time to 7 minutes.
Press the “Start/+30Sec./Confirm” button to confirm your selection. The dual stage cooking program will start.

While unit is in standby, turn the knob selector ” ” to the right to select the Quick Menu program. “A1” will appear on the display.
Turn the knob selector ” ” to select the menu program (menu selection from A1 to A10, as in table 4). Press the “Start/+30Sec./Confirm” button once to confirm the selected menu program.
Turn the knob selector ” ” to select the weight of the selected menu (menu weight available choices may differ between menus, please advise available options listed in table 4).
Press the “Start/+30Sec./Confirm” button to confirm your selection. The program will start.

Note:

Cake quick menu (A8) program starts with preheating of the microwave oven, under convection mode at 160°C. When preheat temperature is reached, the microwave oven will stop operation and beep to inform you, so you can place the cake into the microwave oven. Once the cake is placed in the oven and the door is shut, press the “Start/+30Sec./Confirm” button for the menu program to resume with the cooking.
Chicken quick menu (A10) will beep twice after 2/3 of the cooking time has passed to notify you to turn over the food. The operation will not stop, and you can choose to allow it to continue cooking instead. For optimal cooking results, it is recommended to turn over the food, close the door, and press the “Start/+30Sec./Confirm” button once for the menu program to resume with the cooking.

Inquiry

You can check the current time by pressing the “Timer/Clock” button once during any program (requires Clock setting to have been completed).
You can check the current power setting of cooking program by pressing the “Microwave”, “Grill/Combi.” or “Convection” button once. Power setting will appear on the display for approximately 3 seconds.

Child Lock

To prevent accidental use of microwave oven, you can activate the Child Lock function.

Press the “Stop/Clear” button for 3 seconds for the microwave over to enter the Child Lock state. The unit will beep once and and the lock indicator will appear. The current time (or 0:00 if clock is not set) will show on the display. Under Child Lock, the unit will not receive any command.
To quit the Child Lock state, press the “Stop/Clear” button for 3 seconds. The unit will beep once and the lock indicator will disappear.

Notes:

When turning the knob, the unit will beep once.
Each button press will make the unit beep once.
If the door is opened during cooking, to continue cooking close the door and press the “Start/+30Sec./Confirm” button.
During setting a cooking program, if no button is pressed for 5 minutes the program setting will be cancelled.
When cooking is finished the unit will beep 5 times to notify you.

CHECK BEFORE YOU CALL SERVICE

If the microwave oven does not operate:

Check if the plug is securely attached to the power socket. If not, unplug, wait 15 seconds and re-plug.
Check if the fuse has dropped or the main circuit breaker is disconnected.
Try plugging the device into another socket.
Check that you have set the correct programming.
Check if the door is properly closed. If the door is not completely shut, the microwave will not operate.

If the device still does not work, contact a qualified technician. Do not attempt to repair the microwave yourself.

According to Waste of Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) directive, WEEE should be separately collected and treated. If at any time in future you need to dispose of this product please do NOT dispose of this product with household waste. Please send this product to WEEE collecting points where available.
