6. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Remove the plug from the wall socket. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents and make sure that no water can penetrate into the appliance. To prevent electrocution, never immerse the appliance, plug or cord in water or any other liquid.
• To prevent the dirt from sticking too strongly, we recommend that you clean the vitroceramic surface after each use when it is still lukewarm or has just cooled down. With a cleaning agent for vitroceramic glass, you can remove all traces of water and lime as well as all grease splashes.
• A scraper is ideal for large and stubborn stains. Hold the scraper at an angle and loosen the dirt by rubbing the Vitro ceramic glass with the knife side. Molten material such as plastic must be scraped away immediately when it is still warm. Be careful not to burn yourself! If the hob has already cooled down, you will need to reheat it. When it has cooled down afterwards, clean it as described above.
• Wipe off the surface with a damp cloth or use a mild, non-abrasive soap solution.
• Make sure that the bottom of the cookware does not scrape across the surface of the ceramic field.
• Make sure that the device was properly cleaned before storing it in a dry place.
