SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
To prevent injury or damage, please read and follow these safety precautions
- Read and understand the user manual before using the product and keep. it safe for future reference.
- Only use the original accessories provided by the manufacturer.
- Remove the protection film on the LCD display and lens before using the product.
- DO NOT try to disassemble, alter or repair the product your sell. Please ask for the help from the manufacturer or similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard. After repairing, please do a safety check to ensure that the product is working properly.
- This product must not be placed in a location that may affect the deployment of air bags, and must not obstruct the driver’s view.
- If there is a malfunction or abnormality, such as smoke or strange odor, please stop using the product immediately, then cut off the power supply and contact us.
- NEVER install the unit in the place where is exposed to the direct sunlight or extremely high temperature. The operating temperature of this product ranges from -10°C(14°F) to 60°C(140°F).
- Drive safe! NEVER operate the App and the product when you are driving to avoid a traffic accident caused by distraction. Be sure to park the car in a safe place before operating.
- This product must be securely mounted before driving.

Function of the Power Button
(1) Press this button once to see the date and time.
(2) Press this button twice to check the WiFi name and password of the dash
camera.
(3) Press this button three times to get back to the recording interface.
(4) Press and hold this button for 3 seconds until you hear the first beep to
manually power on/off the dash camera.
(5) Press and hold this button for 8 seconds until you hear the second beep to
restore the camera to factory settings.
(6) After you install a memory card into the dash camera, press this button
once to format the card.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1:
To start, insert a memory card into the dash cam. This dash cam can take a
card with a capacity of up to 256GB, preferably using a reputable class 10 or
higher speed card.
Tips:
-
Turn on the camera, then press the power button once to format the memory card, or use two other options for formatting.
Option 1: Install the memory card into a card reader, then connect it to the computer to format it to FAT32.
Option 2: After connecting the camera to the VYCOL Cam App, install the memory card into the dash cam and go to the VYCOL Cam App >Camera Settings > Format to format the card. -
To ensure smooth video recording, use a reputable Class 10 or higher speed memory card.

To avoid damaging the card, please do not remove or install the card while the camera is powered on.

Memory cards have a limited lifespan. After numerous data overwrites, they may become inoperable. When this occurs, kindly replace your memory card.

For consistent performance, it’s advisable to regularly format the memory card. We suggest doing this once a month.
Step 2:
Turn off your vehicle’s engine, and find a suitable location on the front
windshield to attach the dash cam. Use the cleaning cloth provided to clean
the spot and affix the static sticker on it.
Step 3:
Peel off one side of the 3M Adhesive Pad on the base of the camera and
affix the base to the static sticker. When mounting the camera on the static
stacker, ensure that the lens s positioned outside the area covered by the
sticker to get a clear view.
Step 4:
Connect the Type-C connector of the Car Charger to the Type-C Port on
the camera, and plug the other end into the Cigarette Lighter Receptacle
in your vehicle.
Tips:

You can adjust the angle of the base to adjust the lens view.

To prevent your dash cam from being stolen while parked, you can easily remove it from the base. To remove it from the base clip, first disconnect the Type-C cable, then firmly press and hold the base while slowly sliding the dash cam upward with force.
Step 5:
Start your vehicle’s engine to verify that the dash camera works well.
Tips:
To keep your vehicle tidy, we recommend using the Adhesive Cable Clips provided to fix the cables of the car charger over the edge of your vehicle.
OPERATION GUIDE OF USING THE APP
- Connect the Dash Cam with the App
Step 1:
Download and install the VYCOL Cam App on your mobile device by scanning
the QR code below or searching for it on Google Play™/App Store™.
Step 2:
Ensure that the dash camera is turned on and mobile device is within 5 meters
of the camera.
Step 3:
Press the power button twice to check the WiFi information of the dash cam.
Step 4:
Open the VYCOL Cam App and grant the necessary permissions, then register
an account and log into the App with your email address.
Step 5:
Tap on Add Camera to check the wizard and start connecting.
Step 6:
Tap on Connect WiFi and go to the Settings > WLAN of your mobile
device to search for the Orbit1** WIFi. Enter the password 12345678
to complete the connection process.
Step 7:
Return to the App and wait for the connection. Tap on Access Camera to
enter the homepage.
Tips:
(1) If a window pops up on your mobile device asking if you want to
continue connecting 1o the camera’s WIFi even thought can’t access the
internet, select Yes. Selecting No will disconnect the camera’s WiFi.
(2) Only one mobile device can connect to one camera at a time.
(3) Any videos or photos downloaded from the App will also be saved in
the Album on the main page. Tap Support to directly email the VYCOL
support team about any issues when your phone is connected to the router’s
WiFi or cellular data. Tap on More to access options such as App
Settings , Help , and About. In App Settings , you can log out
or remove your account, change the language of the app, etc. Help provides
the email address of the VYCOL support team, while About lets you check
and update the app version.

Camera File
To view and manage your camera files, tap on Camera File on the homepage. From here, you can see all your videos and photos, and select a file to delete or download.
(1) Loop: Standard Videos from the camera
Snapshot: Captured Photos from the camera
Locked: Locked Videos from the camera
(2) Tap Select on the upper right comer to select the file(s) to
download it/them into your mobile device or delete the file(s)
After downloading the file(s), you can edit or directly share it(them) to
social media.
Settings
Tap Camera Settings on the homepage to check and change the settings of your dash cam.
(1) Sound Recording
Turn on or turn off the audio when recording videos.
(2) Speaker Volume
Set the volume of the speaker for the camera.
(3) Light Source Frequency
Change the light source frequency between 50Hz and 60Hz.
(4) Loop Recording Duration
Change the recording time of each video. The recording time is set o be 1
minute by default. You can choose from 1 Minute, 2 Minutes and 3
Minutes.
(5) Time Stamp
Show or hide the date and time watermark on the live preview, recorded videos
and captured photos.
(6) Collision Detection Sensitivity for Driving
Set the G-sensor sensitivity for collision detection while driving. You can
select from Low, Medium, High, and Off as needed. If you select
High(low), the camera would automatically lock the current video when your car
encounters a minor(severe) collision. A flashing yellow dot on the upper left
corner of the LCD display will be displayed, indicating the camera is locking
the current video.
(7) start-up sound
Turn on or turn off the sound when the camera is turned on.
(8) Date Format
Set the date format for the dash camera.
(9) Automatic Screen off Time.
Set a designated time for the screen to turn off automatically.
(10) 24-Hour Clock
Set the time format for the dash camera.
(11) Voice Control
Turn on or turn off the voice control function. This camera can be controlled
via four voice commands, including Turn on Audio, Turn off Audio, Lock the
Video and Take Photo.
NOTE:
If you installed a hardwire kit (sold separately) for the dash cam, the
following three Parking Mode options will be available for you to use.
(12) Collision Detection Sensitivity for Parking
Set the G-sensor sensitivity for collision detection while parking. Enabling
any sensitivity level activates this function. Higher sensitivity increases
the likelihood of triggering recordings. Selecting Off disables this
function. In this mode, the camera will power on and begin recording a locked
video when a collision is detected, after which it powers off to preserve your
car’s
battery.
(13) Time-lapse Recording
Turn on or turn off the time-lapse recording function. When this function is
enabled, the flash dot on the upper left corner will turn blue.
(14) Time-lapse Recording Duration
Choose a time duration for recording the time-lapse video.
(15) WiFi name
Check and change the camera’s WiFi name.
(16) WiFi password
Check and change the camera’s WiFi password.
(17) Firmware Version
Check the firmware version of the dash camera.
(18) Format
Format the memory card.
(19) Factory Reset
Restore the dash camera to the factory settings.
