FAQs

I have a saucer under mine in case it sweats, but I’m curious to see if anyone has experienced the sweating yet from their Levoit salt lamp?

Where is this made?

kindly note all Levoit salt rock are mined from Pakistan,100% natural and genuine.

Is there a trick to the switch? I have a difficult time easily getting the light intensity adjusted.

It’s a little tricky at first. You tap to turn on/off. Tap and hold to adjust light intensity.

how long does it last?

I don’t know how long it lasts I haven’t seen it shrink at all! But let me say this it comes package beautifully and you will not regret buying! After running it about two weeks straight (the room it is in is HUGE) I’ve been sleeping like a rock!

Screw broke off. Can’t get the base off to replace the bulb. What is the solution now?

I do not know the answer as the lamp was a gift for a granddaughter who is taking it to college. It has not even been taken out of the box.

Screws are hard to take off, how do you get screws off to change the lighbulb?

Needle nose pliers.

if left in the direct sunlight will the pink color fade?

I’m not sure. I do know that wet, humid conditions are not good, but not sure about direct sunlight. Most things fade if let in sunlight for long periods of time, so I wouldn’t recommend it. I would be more concerned about a fire hazard if the sun heated up the outside of the lamp.

How do you change the light bulb?

  1. Unplug your salt lamp
  2. Remove screws on its base by rotating counter-clockwise.
  3. Remove the old bulb from socket, rotating it clockwise.
  4. Install a new bulb and slide the base back。

You can refer to your user manual for more detailed insurrections.

Is the salt from this lamp from Pakistan?

Yes, the salt is from Pakistan.

How many hours does the 15w bulb last in the Elora Salt Lamp?

Mine has only been turned off for about 72 hours total over the past 5 months. Before that it was on for an average of 7 hours a day for 13 months, original bulb. I hope they all last as long!

When the bulbs burn out, where can I get spare bulbs?

Please kindly note that your package comes with two extra bulbs. If the other two bulbs also burn out, you can purchase the same bulbs on Amazon, which can be found by searching ASIN B06XJ1H913.

country of origin?

All our salt lamps are made of salt rocks from Pakistan and then assembled together in China.

Is it okay to use a “dimmable” led light bulb in this? Does using a led bulb defeat any purpose of this lamp?

I’m not sure about using another bulb. It came with its own bulb and an extra one. The switch has a dimming option. I’m still using the same one it came with and have had it on since the beginning of September.

Mine has some red spots on it. Is there any way to remove them?

They are nature made and subject to natural variations, if they really bother you , return it.

is it made in USA?

No. The plate on the bottom says Made in China. The crystal itself is from the Himalayan Mountains.
