Introduction

Use the Cora salt lamp to unwind after a hard day or to relieve tension while working on big projects thanks to its mellow amber glow. With the movable touch control, you’ll always discover the ideal level to suit your mood. You can take your relaxation with you by connecting Cora to any laptop, computer, or other device with a USB port using the normal USB connection.

IMPORTANT: Please read, understand, and comply with all of the instructions provided in this manual before using the device. Failure to comply with the instructions given in this manual and/or using the device in ways other than the ones mentioned in this manual may result in serious injury and/or damage the product.

• Keep out of reach of children.
• Avoid exposure to high-temperature sources, direct sunlight and moisture. The lamp is for indoor use only.
• DO NOT strike or drop the lamp.
• To avoid damage, move and handle with care.
• DO NOT wash with water or detergents. Do not immerse in any form of liquid.
• DO NOT place the salt lamp near any electrical appliances. The natural evaporation may cause humidity or damage to other appliances.
• Due to the nature of salt, each crystal varies in color, shape, size, and weight.
• To protect the surface in which the lamp is placed, place a cloth or coaster under the lamp’s base.
• If the salt crystal surface becomes moist, set the lamp to high and leave the lamp on to allow the salt crystals to dry.
• DO NOT replace the bulb while the lamp is connected to a power source.
• Although the salt crystals are non-toxic, they are not made for consumption and may present a choking hazard.

SET-UP

Remove the protective lining from inside the lamp. Then open the bag of salt crystals and place them carefully into the lamp housing, evenly distributing them around the bulb. The light bulb already comes pre-installed and is covered by the lamp housing.

OPERATION

1. Place the salt lamp on a hard, flat surface.
2. Connect the USB cable into the included power adapter. Plug the power adapter into an electrical outlet.
3. Tap the power button to turn on the lamp.
4. Hold the power button to adjust the lamp’s brightness. Release at the desired brightness setting.
5. Tap the power button once again to turn off the lamp.

NOTE:

• When you first turn on the lamp, its default brightness level will be at maximum.
• The lamp may turn off while dimming it. If this happens, simply press and hold the power button to turn the lamp back on.
• The lamp can be plugged into any device that has a standard 5V/1A USB output including computers, laptops, speakers and other power adapters.

LIGHT BULB REPLACEMENT

1. Unplug lamp from power source.
2. Carefully, remove the lamp’s salt crystals and place them in a safe, dry place.
3. Flip the housing over and remove the three screws attaching the base to the housing.
4. Gently pull on the power cord near the base to remove the base from the housing.
5. Remove the bulb from the socket by gently twisting it counter-clockwise.
6. Install a new E10 2.5W bulb.
7. Place the base back into the housing and replace all of the screws on the base.
8. Flip the housing back over and replace all of the salt crystals.

CLEANING &  MAINTENANCE

• Regularly dust off the salt crystals with a dry clean cloth.
• Do not wash or clean with water or liquid detergents.
• If not in use for a long period of time, store the lamp in a cool and dry environment, covering the crystals with a plastic bag.
• The lamp may naturally moisten in humid environments. If used in a humid environment, keep the lamp lit for several hours for it to naturally dry out.
• If the salt crystals become moist, gently pat down them with a dry-cleaning cloth.

FAQs

Is it safe to plug in my Cora salt lamp next to my bedside table lamp?

I just wrote an explanatory 1-star video review for this lamp. I ordered one initially that had the issue, so I ordered a replacement, which unfortunately has the same issue. The issue is when the lamp is plugged in, but not turned on, the lamp sounds inside like it has electricity running through it, like a short-circuit. When the lamp is on the sound disappears, but when you turn it off you can hear the electricity sound inside. Because of this I don’t feel safe leaving the lamp plugged in since it may start a fire if the short circuit extends. I’m going to return both lamps that I received.

Can you replace with a higher watt bulb? According to a review you need 15 for the salt to really do its job.

It is a C7 socket you need a bulb that will fit it. Good luck on finding one at a higher wattage.

Does anyone have a hard time with the power button? Difficult to get mine to come on?

I did at first. My solution was to keep it turned on after I managed to turn it on the first time. I did notice it has to be a very subtle touch, don’t press it hard.

I live where there is 100% humidity. Will this lamp still hold up? I saw reviews where they said the rocks started to sweat.

Unfortunately, I also live in 100% humidity. When I lived in a newer, properly insulated home, my salt lamps lasted for years, but upon moving to an older, historic home with cracks and drafts. They dissolved and made messes. Even a dehumidifier and damp rid all over my home couldn’t save them. It was very sad.

How tall is it?

Maybe 4in tall. Very small. Only good for a room 10×10 maybe.

how long is USB cable on the smaller, loose rock lamp?

Actually, I have no idea because I bought the large rock that has an electric cord.

I bought one for my home, & one for the office. Has anyone else experienced them coming on by themselves. The manual does not mention a timer feature?

We bought 2 of them. Put one upstairs in the bedroom and one down stairs living area. Both turned on around the same time around 2AM last night. Nest cam caught the one in the living room. I woke up to the one in the bedroom kind of freaked.

Is this bright enough to act as a standalone lamp in a bedroom if you didn’t want the overhead light on?

The light from the lamp doesn’t stretch very far. So, it being used as the only light source would leave your room pretty dark.

**How do I find the correct bulb? I contacted amazon and was sent a bulb that doesn’t fit. help! but please don’t just reply “contact amazon”.**

Why can’t I find the 2.5-watt light bulb’s anywhere for the Cora natural pink Himalayan salt lamp.

What does a salt lamp do?

Just kindly note our salt lamps serve not only as beautiful interior decorations but also act as natural sources of light. The salt rock can produce negative ions when it keeps on, which may have positive effects to your health. Also, it can balance electromagnetic radiation in your room and reduce your stress.

Replacing bulb. plastic cover encloses bulb from top; rmvd bottom screws, but bottom does not appear to detach FM cylinder. how do I replace the bulb?

I figured it out: you DO rmv the screws from the btm, then jiggle the cylinder to make the base fall out/separate from the cylinder housing (don’t pull on the base).

Is it auto volt 110-220?

The packaging says 100-240V. Not really sure how big exactly. But I can say the brightness is good enough as a sleeping light.
