IMPORTANT SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY AND KEEP FOR FUTURE REFERENCE
Failure to observe these instructions will invalidate the warranty.

WARNING
TO REDUCE THE RISK OF FIRE, ELECTRIC SHOCK OR INJURY:

  • Switch off the mains supply before commencing any installation or service work.
  • The controller can be mounted recessed in a wall, provided the IR load is rated below 2KW. For a load rated above 2KW, the unit must be mounted proud of the wall to ensure adequate cooling.
  • The controller should be connected according to the wiring diagram below, using cables suitable for the maximum load rating of the IR heater load.
  • It is recommended to use a suitably rated semi-conductor protection fuse or Z-type MCB to protect the internal triac device (max rating 20Amps).
  • This unit MUST be EARTHED
  • Installation must be carried out in accordance with the current IEE regulations (BS7671)

IMPORTANT

  • Ensure all earth wires are connected to maintain earth continuity.
  • Check all wiring and make sure the cable glands are tightened.

SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS.
