Thank you for purchasing this series of digital projectors. Please read through this “User’s manual” for proper use of this product. Please keep this manual together with the warranty card in a safe place for reference as needed after reading. Please read this “User’s manual” to find things you need to know in use or in case of problems.

Note
Do not open the enclosure to avoid electric shock. No components in the projector can be repaired by customers. Please trust qualified professional maintenance personnel for repair. The identification warns users of the voltage without insulating treatment in the projector which may cause electric shock via a surface magnetic field. Therefore, it’s very dangerous to contact any component inside the projector. The identification reminds users to be very careful and cautious in the operation and maintenance. Therefore, carefully read the manual to avoid any failures.

The following safety instructions ensure the long service life of the projector to avoid fire or electric shock. Make sure to carefully read them and pay attention to all the following warnings.

  • Do not install the projector in sites with the direct blowing of the warm and cool air-conditioning wind. Otherwise, it may cause the project failure due to moisture condensation or temperature increment.

Important safety considerations

Installation
Please use the projector in a dark room for the best results. Please use the projector with caution to avoid dropping or shocking it, which may damage the internal components.

Power Supply
Use the power cord with caution to avoid unduly bending. A damaged power cord may cause electric shock or fire. Unplug the power cord from the outlet after using the projector.

Cleaning
Unplug the power cord from the projector Use a wet cloth to clean the cabinet regularly. The neutral detergent may be used for serious smudges. Do not use strong detergents or solvents such as alcohol or diluent. Use an airbrush or lens paper to clean the lens and be careful not to scratch or abrade them. Please clean the ventilation opening and the loudspeaker regularly with a cleaner. The projector will be overheated with blocked dust, causing the failure Please use the projector with a soft brush. Do not use rigid accessories, such as a crevice cleaning tool, to avoid damage to the projector.

Notes
on Fire and Electric Shock Make sure of adequate ventilation and a blocked outlet to avoid heat accumulation within the projector. Prevent foreign objects from falling into the projector, such as paper clips and paper scraps, do not attempt to retrieve any such object. Do not insert any metal object, such as an iron wire or a screwdriver, into the
projector. Make sure to immediately turn off the power and ask qualified professional maintenance personnel to remove any object falling into the projector Do not place any liquid on the projector.

Moving to use soft package
materials and attach the lens cover to protect the lens when moving the projector. Also, do not impose severe mechanical vibration on the projector.

High-Temperature Warning
During and after the projection, the temperature near the outlet will rise, therefore touching may cause burns. Do not peep at the lens, or it may cause severe eye injury.

Installed Away from Walls

Attention
Please be careful when operating the remote control. Do not drop or tread on the remote control, or splash any kind of liquid into the remote control. Do not the remote
heat source, in a place, exposed to direct sunlight or in a damp room.

Installation and Debugging

  1. Install the Projector

  2. Adjust the Focal Length

  3. Adjust the projector
    keystone correction ring and the focusing ring to obtain a satisfactory image. It is recommended to adjust the keystone correction ring in case of keystone distortion in the image (Figure 1 on the right). When the screen image is blurred (Figure 2 on the right) it is recommended to adjust the focus ring to improve the
    picture definition. Please move forward or backward proportionally in case the adjustment is unable to obtain the satisfactory definition.

Attentions
Change the projection mode in case the projector is hanging from the ceiling. or in a rear proiection svstem

  1.  Please move the project to one side in case of left or right screen offsets. (Align the screen center to the projector lens center)
  2.  Please adjust with front adjuster for vertical offsets.
  3. Plcasce place the projector on a horizontal plane for angle offsets.
  4.  The projection sereen as shown in the figure indicates the projector is not align to the screen. Please adjust the projector’s location to align to the screen.

Safe Shutdown

  1. Use the key on the remote control to shutdown the projector.
  2. Press and hold the key on the control panel to shutdown the projector.
  3. Press the soft key on the Port and shutdown the projector according to the prompts (only effective for smart Android version)
  4.  Please unplug the power cord after the projector shutdowns to save energy.Press and hold the key on the control panel to shutdown the projector.

Input Source Switching

The input source can be switched in the following ways.

  1. Press the “S” key on the operation panel of the projector and choose the appropriate input source in the menu (as shown in the Figure on the right).
  2.  Press the “INPUT” key on the remote control to sclect the appropriate input source.
  3. In the main screen, press the soft key of the floating window on the right (as shown in the figure below), choose the appropriate input source (only for multimedia version)
    the icon is lit up, indicating the USB disk is inserted; the icon is lit up, indicating the TF card is inserted,

Play A Video
Video files on the memory device can be played in the following steps.

  1. ‘To play a video file, first select “Video” on the main sereen, and then press the “OK” key on the operation panel.
  2. Press the and “*on the operation panel to select the equipment for video storage. Press the “OK” key to enter the next step.
  3. Press the appropriate video (or folder to enter the subfolder). Press the “OK” key to play and on the operation panel to select .

Attentions
The vidco content can be viewed by staying the cursor on the selected video for over 3 seconds. Only MP4, RMVB, AVI, RM, MKV and other video formats are supported in video playing.

Play Music

  1. Music files on the memory device can be played in the following steps. (2) To play a music file, first select “Music” on the main screen, and then press the *OK”key on the operation panel.
  2.  Press the “” and “*>” on the operation panel to select the cquipment for music storage and then press the “OK” key to antar she next eten

Projection Settings (Multimedia Version)

Get a better viewing effect with appropriate settings. The main content of the projection can be set in the following steps.

  1. It needs setting, first select “Settings” on the main sereen, and then press the “OK” key on the operation panel.
  2. Image”, “Sound”, “Time”, “Settings” can be set. Press the and >”on the operation panel to select the range of settings.
  3. Options related with “Image” are set in this screen.

Synchronize mobile phone screen Screen matching function

The display content in the mobile phone screen can be synchronized on the projection screen in the following steps. It is convenient for enjoying videos and images, or a simple
business meeting in a larger screen.

  1. Access the MHL end of the MHL-HDML cable (not supplied) to the MHL port of a Android Phone. Access the Lightning port of the Lightning-HDMI cable (not supplied) to an iphone.
  2. Access the HDMI end to HDMI port of the projector, and set the input source to the “HDMI Input”. It is recommended to set the mobile phone screen to “Landscape” to get a better effect.

TOnly for Mirror Screen function machine (Luna 2.0 & Luna X) For Android phones

  1. For Android System (wireless connection) To activate this function, your android device must support Multi-Screen/Wireless display. Names may differ from different
    devices.

  2. Turn on the projector, select Screen Mirroring as the Input Source, then choose Android on the projector interface of Screen Mirroring for Android System.

    • Turn on the Wi-Fi Switch in your Android device.
    • Successfullyconnected Wi-Fi on Android device is not a must unless the live streaming content is needed.
    • Activate Multi- Screen function in your Android device and search for the projector
    • Select RKcast-XXXXXX from the searching results to connect.
    • Your Android device display will be projected to the wallscreen after a successful connection
    • The fluency of screen mirroring with wireless connection will be affected by the network environment. A bandwidth of 100Mbit or more is recommended when using screen mirroring.
    • Make sure your mobile device is closed to the projector when using wireless connection. A distance within 1 meter is recommended.
    • Some mobile devices may not support screen mirroring due to the compatibility.

Only for Mirror Screen function machine (Luna 2.0 & Luna X)

  1. For Android System (wired connection) Turn on the projector, select Screen Mirroring as the input source,then choose iPhone on the projector interface of Screen Mirroring for Android System.
  2. Go to the settings of your mobile device, find Developer options and turn on USB Debugging
  3. The steps to turn on Developer options vary from different models of Android device. You may check it from Internet or contact us for the detailed steps. We take Samsung Galaxy S8+ as an example
  4. Go to settings of your Android device, then tap About phone> Software information> Build number. Continuously tap on Build number for several times until it shows
  5. Developer mode had beenturned on. Get back to the settings of your mobile device, it will show Developer options.
  6. Connect your Android mobile device to the USB port of the projector with the ORIGINAL USB cable.
  7. Tap OK when your Android mobile device pops out. the windows of Allow USB debugging. then your Android device will be projected to the wall/screen.

The USB cable MUST be the ORIGINAL cable or the cable which can transfer the data, otherwise screen mirroring may fail. You can plug the cable into your laptop to check the availability of transferring the data. Some mobile devices may not support screen mirroring due to the compatibility. Some Android mobile devices may only transfer the display without audio due to the protocol restrictions.

Start Using
Only for Mirror Screen function machine (Luna 2.0 & Luna X) For iPhone phones

  1. For iOS system
    Setting with cellular data (wireless connection) Turn on the projector, select Screen Mirroring as the input source to enter the interface of Screen Mirroring for i0S system.

  2. Go to the settings of your iOS mobile device and connect it to the Wi-Fi of RKcast-XXXXXX (password: 12345678). Please ignore the exclamation mark before it.
    Swipe up the screen of your iOS mobile device, then tap Screen Mirroring/AirPlay Mirroring and search for the projector.

Only for Mirror Screen function machine (Luna 2.0 & Luna X)
Select RKcast-XXXXXX from the searching results to connect The display of your iOS mobile device will be projected to the wall/screen via cellular data after a successful connection. Streaming with your router sWi-Fi (wireless connection) Turn on the projector, select Screen Mirroring as the input source to enter the interface of Screen Mirroring for iOS system

Go to the settings ot your iOS mobile device and connect it to the Wi-Fi of RKcast-XXXXX (password: 12345678) Visit http://192.168.49.1 from a browser on your mobile device, tap WiFi AP>Scan, select your router sWi-Fi and enter the right

  • Your router’ s Wi-Fi will be displayed on interface of Screen
  • Mirroring for iOS System after a successtul connection.
  • Get back to the Wi- Fi setting of your iOS mobile device, then connect it to the same router’s Wi-Fi,
  • Swipe up the screen of your iOS mobile device and tap Screen
  • Mirroring to search for the projector, then select RKcast-XXXXX from the searching results to connect

Only for Mirror Screen function machine (Luna 2.0 & Luna X)
The live streaming content from your iOS mobile device will be projected to the wall/screen through Wi-Fi connection.If you’d like to connect to another router’s Wi-Fi, please repeat the procedures mentioned in the section of Streaming with your router’s Wi-Fi.

For iOS System
Screen Mirroring with the USB Cable (wired connection)) Turn on the projector, select Screen Mirroring as the input source to enter the interface of Screen Mirroring for iOS System. Connect your iOS mobile device to the USB port of the projector with the ORIGINAL lightning cable. Select Trust in the pop-up window of Trust This Computer.

Only for Mirror Screen function machine (Luna 2.0 & Luna X)
The live streaming content from your iOS mobile device will be projected to the wall/screen through Wi-Fi connection.If you’d like to connect to another router’s Wi-Fi, please repeat the procedures mentioned in the section of Streaming with your router’s Wi-Fi.

For iOS System
Screen Mirroring with the USB Cable (wired connection)) Turn on the projector, select Screen Mirroring as the input source to enter the interface of Screen Mirroring for iOS System.Connect your iOS mobile device to the USB port of the projector with the ORIGINAL lightning cable. Select Trust in the pop-up window of Trust This Computer.

The dispay of your iOS mobile device will be projected to the wall/screen after a while.

Start Using
Wi-Fi Connection only for Android Version (Luna X) Power ON the projector & you will see the home page as shown in the images

  • Go to Settings option ( check picture ) Go to Network options then click & enter Turn ON the Wi-Fi & search for theavailable Wi-Fi networks & get connectedpTron-B081QJVSXN-LED-Projector-In

  • Go to Settings option ( check picture ) Go to Network options then click & enter Turn ON the Wi-Fi & search for theavailable Wi-Fi networks & get connected

  • For Bluetooth connection, go to settings option then click on Bluetooth Icon & turn ON the Bluetooth and search for the available other Bluetooth devices in 10 Meters of range and get connected Applications & Installations

  • In the System there are many pre-installed applications such as Youtube, Netlix, Amazon Prime, Browser, Google chrome etc as you can see the images

  • For installing any other application Go-to Google Playstore & ind application and install
    Note :

  • For selecting any content or reaching to any text directly you can change the key-button cursor into mouse mode.
    Mouse Mode : Long press the “Menu Button” for 3sec to change it into Mouse mode. To go back to the regular mode press the “Menu Button” for 3sec.

  •  In “regular Mode” you can operate & Type with the On-screen keyboard by using Remote keys. In Luna X, you can directly go through the Miracast mode by clicking on the Icon shown on the Home page of projector.
