INTRODUCTION
Congratulation to your new walimex pro 16 Angle Softbox. It consists of first- class materials and is featured through characteristics such as low light loss, extensive light output and high colour saturation for taking photos of medium sized products.
- Please read these instructions carefully before using your device for the first time. It includes everything you need to know to avoid physical injuries and damages.

Important safety notes
WARNING Danger for the eyes
The tension of the rods could be a danger for your eyes
- When stretching the rods, please pay attention, that they don´t shoot in your eyes. Danger of severe eye injury
- Make sure, that all persons, who are not involved in mounting and demounting arrangements, should keep a distance of at least 3m
Caution Danger of injury through the tension of the rods
- Make sure, that your fingers will not be squeezed when fixing the rods to the speedring
- Make sure, that all persons, who are not involved in mounting and demounting arrangements, should keep a distance of at least 3m
WARNING Danger of burning through hot parts
The speedring and the softbox adapter could heat up depending on your studio
flash device. Easy inflammable materials could keep fire, if they are too near
or if they are not mounted correctly.
Make sure, that easily inflammable materials don´t get in contact with the
studio flash device.
Warning Danger of burning on hot parts
The modeling lamp and the flash tube as well as the speedring and softbox
adapter could heat up depending on your studio flash device.
- Don´t touch these parts during operation and cooling down
- Let the studio device cool down according to the specifications in the instruction manual before starting any mounting or maintenance arrangements
- Don´t touch in the softbox or change the inner diffusor during operation and cooling down
ADVICE: Please mount and demount this item with two persons. We recommend
to use this item with flash devices from at least 400Ws

Assembly instruction

Step I Lay the softbox cover on the ground and open all Velcro fasteners. Put the speedring with the tripod mount in the center. The tripod mount must show backwards to the ground. Insert 4 rods with the big socket into the lugs of the softbox

Step II Slide the end piece of the rods with the slim socket into the speedring.

Step III For the further simple assembly, mount the Softbox with the tripod mount on a stable tripod (e.g. item 16564 walimex pro Lamp Tripod AIR Deluxe, max. load capacity from approx. 20kg). Put the other rods successively into the speeding. For getting the right tension, slide the softbox cover forward and insert the rods into the lugs of the softbox.
WARNING When stretching the rods, please pay attention, that they don´t shoot in your eyes. Danger of severe eye injury
Caution Danger of injuries and physical injuries through the tension of the rods during mounting and demounting. Keep a distance from at least 3m to the product. -
Step IV Close the back side of the softbox cover with the Velcro fastener.

Step V Fix the softbox adapter on the universal connection of the softbox with the screws on the speeding. Put the inner softbox cover around the speedring and fix it with the Velcro fastener.

Step VI You can mount your studio flash device on the softbox adapter. Make sure, that it is locked securely in the softbox adapter. The studio flash device is levitating and cannot be mounted on a tripod. The studio flash can be mounted diagonal and serves as counterweight for the softbox.

Step VII Attach the inner diffusor on the inner Velcro fastener. Afterwards you can put the front diffuser over the edges of the softbox.
Maintenance
Let the softbox cool down completely before cleaning. Clean the softbox and diffusor only with a wet cloth. Please use the original box or carrying bag for transportation or storage.
