Tile makes it easier to manage your belongings. The streamlined form of the Tile Pro hangs beautifully from keys, backpacks, or baggage. Use our app to locate them for free. When your Tile is within Bluetooth range, you can use the Tile app to ring it or ask your Smart Home device to locate it for you. To see your Tile’s most recent location on a map while out of Bluetooth range, download the Tile app. Even when your phone is on mute, you may still make it ring by pressing the Tile button twice. Use the Tile Network’s safe and private assistance to find your items.

Use the Tile app to ring your Tile when it’s within Bluetooth range.
FIND FAR AWAY
When outside of Bluetooth range, use the Tile app to view your Tile’s most recent location on a map.
HOW TO FIND A PHONE
Double press the logo button on your Tile to make your phone ring, even when it’s on silent. On Tile Sticker, the button is on the side.
LOST AND FOUND
If your Tile is lost, add your contact information so you can be reached when someone scans the QR code on your lost Tile.
HOW TO USE TILE APP
- Get the Tile App now.
- Click “Get Started” when the app is open.
- Your email address should be used as the username.
- Set up a password (at least 7 characters long).
- Visit your email inbox and adhere to the directions provided there to confirm the email. (If an email isn’t visible, check your spam box.)
- Return to the Tile App and log in after the confirmation.
- The Tile App’s instructions should be followed (regarding Bluetooth and location).
HOW TO LINK TILE TO THE APP
- Add a Tile: To add a Tile, click the + button.
- Firmly press the Tile logo till a sound is produced.
- Do as the app instructs and place the Tile next to the device.
- You should name your Tile (Keys, Laptop, Bike, etc.)
- Turn on your Tile.
- everything is now in reach.
FAQs
Why don’t you offer multipacks that are all the same color?
We wanted to provide our customers with both white and black Tile colors in our pre-packaged Tile packs (2-pack and 4-pack).
Can I connect a tile to more than one phone?
I don’t think so because when you are trying to locate is phone it will give you the exact location for just one. I think you need 2 tiles
Is there a subscription fee?
Whenever you purchase a Tile, it comes with access to the free Tile app and Tile’s core finding features – ringing your items, ringing your phone, seeing your item’s last known location in the app, and using the Tile Network to help you find your lost items. No additional fees are required!
Will this help me find my Roomba vacuum in my house when it gets lost/stuck under something?
It definitely will! You can connect with a Tile on your Roomba via Bluetooth when in range to ring it or use the proximity meter to get close to it. Learn more by visiting the Tile app website’s Help page and searching for “How Tile Works”.
What’s the difference between the 2020 version and the 2022 version? The newer one looks bigger, so I assume there must be features to justify that?
From what I can see, other than the obvious shape difference, the 2022 has a stated waterproof of 1p67 where the 2020 simply states water resistant
I got tile 2022; are there silicone cases for them?
We do not have silicone cases for 2022 Tile models. We’re always looking for ways to improve Tile products and services, and we greatly appreciate your input. We’ll be sure to pass along your feedback for our developers to consider!
Will it tell me if the bag is on the plane with me?
yeah, technically you’re not supposed to “have a battery powered device running on a plane” blah blah, but it will work. I used it when I got nervous about my bag having not come out at a baggage claim and found it 3 claims away.
Does it work yet with SmartThings?
At this time Tile is not compatible with Samsung SmartThings. However, it is compatible with other devices such as Apple Watch, Google Nest Mini, and Amazon Alexa to name a few.
What are the features under the free app vs paying for it and does it work as far using the free app or works further with the subscription?
My Tile only worked 2 times IN TOTAL even after spending HOURS trying their suggestions. Do not waste your money on it.
Will this work for iPhone 8?
It definitely will! Tile is compatible with iPhone 6s or newer running iOS 13 or newer.
Do the 2 and 4 packs come in separate boxes for each Tile?
The Tile 2-pack and 4-pack do not come in separate boxes. Instead, it comes in one box that includes all the Tiles.
I always leave my phone in another room. Can it notify you if you get a text or call ?
No, it can’t notify you of a call or text but it can ring your phone if it’s within Bluetooth range and it’s setup right.
Would I be able to leave this in my car to locate it? I live in Wisconsin and it gets pretty cold. I would use it to find where I parked.
Tile is great for finding misplaced items and the things that matter most.
How loud is the tile pro in decibels?
Not sure exactly but claims over 100 decibels
Replaceable battery?
The Tile Pro (2022) has a replaceable battery that you can change. The initial battery it comes with is guaranteed to last up to one year. Once the battery has stopped working, simply swap it out with a CR-2032 battery type.
