Box from Breeze line. Current Customers: If you need to replace your current

How to remove your current equipment
- Unplug the Set-Top Box you are replacing from its power source.
- Disconnect the coaxial cable from the back of the Set-Top Box. Do not disconnect the other end of the cable line from the wall or from any splitters.
- Please proceed to the “Installing your Digital HD Set-Top Box” section.
Getting your TV Service connected
Follow these easy instructions to set up your TV service.
How to set up your Digital HD Set-Top Box
Before connecting your Digital HD Set-Top Box, please carefully read the steps
below. When you connect your new Digital HD Set-Top Box with an HDMI cable to
your HD TV, you will be able to view HD programming with easy-to-use on-screen
menus and navigation.
HDMI CONNECTION FOR HIGH DEFINITION TV (HD TV)
HDMI allows you to take full advantage of the Evolution Digital HD Set-Top
Box’s high-definition digital features.
- Connect the coaxial cable to the cable wall outlet and the “CABLE IN” port on the HD Set-Top Box.
- Connect the HDMI cable to the “HDMI” port on the HD Set-Top Box. Connect the other end to the “HDMI” port on your TV.
- Connect the power cord to the electrical wall outlet and the “DC 5V IN” port on the HD Set-Top Box.
Note: HDMI cables carry audio and video to the TV.
How to set up your Digital HD Set-Top Box (continued)
COAXIAL AUDIO/VIDEO CONNECTION FOR STANDARD DEFINITION TV (SD TV) Follow
the instructions below to set up TVs with no HDMI port.
- Connect the coaxial cable to the cable wall outlet and the “CABLE IN” port on the HD Set-Top Box.
- Connect a second coaxial cable to the “RF OUT” port on the HD Set-Top Box. Connect the other end to the input port on the TV.
- Connect the power cord to the electrical wall outlet and the “DC 5V IN” port on the HD Set-Top Box.
- Set the “Ch 3/4” switch on the back of the HD Set-Top Box to either channel 3 or 4.
Steps to activate your Digital HD Set-Top Box
Get your Digital HD Set-Top Box up and running on Breezeline’s network.
- For SD TV connections, make sure to tune your TV to channel 3 or 4 from Step 4 on the previous page. For HD TVs, make sure your TV is turned on.
- The Digital HD Set-Top Box will automatically begin to activate. While activating, it will continue to blink three times in a row. This process will take approximately 5 minutes.
- Once the Digital HD Set-Top Box starts to blink 2 times in a row, you must call our automated activation line at 1.888.396.7255 and follow the instructions/prompts to complete the activation.
Features of your Remote Control

- When inserting batteries, make sure that the polarity (+/-) is correct.
- The LED on the top of the remote is a visual indicator that confirms the remote has power when a button is pressed.
- Your remote may vary slightly from the one pictured here. However, basic functions should remain the same.

TV Remote essentials
- LED INDICATOR shows a button press and a special command indication.
- TV INPUT* changes your video source.
- INFO displays the channel name and number, date, and time.
- PAGE UP
- MENU displays the Main Menu.
- OK selects a highlighted item within Menus. Displays channel name and number, date, and time.
- GUIDE takes you to the program guide.
- YELLOW A toggles to secondary language (if available).
- SETUP programs your remote control to
- VOLUME controls the TV audio. your Set-Top Box and TV.
- TV POWER* turns your TV on or off.
- EXIT returns to watching TV.
- LAST returns to the previous channel or menu.
- PAGE DOWN
- CHANNEL changes channel up & down.
- MUTE turns the sound on & off.
- RED C toggles through available closed captioning.
- TV must be programmed with the remote.
Pairing your Remote Control
with your Digital HD Set-Top Box Your enclosed remote control can be paired
directly with your HD Set-Top Box.
- Press the Menu button.
- Select Remote Control and then select Remote Control Pairing.
- Press and hold the Setup button until the LED Indicator turns green.
- Press the Menu button.
- Proceed by entering the pairing code displayed in blue on the pairing code pop-up screen.

TO FORCE THE REMOTE CONTROL TO SEND VOLUME CONTROL COMMANDS TO THE TV
- Press and hold the Setup button until the LED Indicator turns green.
- Press the volume up button.
Note: Refer to the Remote Control Programming and Operating instructions, provided with your remote control, to program your remote to work on your TV and for more detailed information regarding pairing your remote.
TO FORCE THE REMOTE CONTROL TO SEND VOLUME CONTROL COMMANDS TO THE DIGITAL HD SET-TOP BOX
- Press and hold the Setup button until the LED Indicator turns green.
- Press the volume up button.
REMOVE REMOTE CONTROL PAIRING
If you would like to use your remote control for a different Set-Top Box, you
must first un-pair the remote control from the current device. Follow the
steps below to remove the pairing.
- Press and hold the Setup button until the LED Indicator turns green.
- Enter 9-8-7 on the remote control.
- The LED Indicator will blink green twice.
Features of your Menu
Refer to the information here to learn more about your on-screen menu.

Menu: Press the Menu button on your remote control to access the main menu. The menu will allow you to update your HD Set-Top Box settings. Press the arrow buttons to navigate through the menu.

Press Exit at any time to return to watching live TV.

Audio Language: Select Audio Language, and press the OK button on your remote. Scroll to select the desired Audio Language (if available).

Closed Captioning: Select Closed Captioning, and press OK to change the status from On/Off. When Closed Captioning is turned

On, the following options are available; Analog Service, Digital Service, and Font Size. Scroll through the available settings using your arrow buttons. Ensure you select Apply to change the CC setting.

Locks Setup: The first time you enter Locks Setup, it will prompt you to Create Locks PIN. Enter your desired PIN and keep that in a safe place to refer to later. This PIN will be needed to Change the PIN, Clear the PIN, and set Channel Locks.

Set Channel Locks: Select Channel Locks and a channel list will appear. Scroll up/down to highlight the channel you would like to lock. Press the OK button and you will see the unlock icon change to lock. This will indicate the channel has been locked and will require a PIN to be entered to view.
HDMI Setup: -
Select TV Aspect Ratio and press the OK button. Select Auto (recommended), 4:3, or 16:9 and press the OK button to select, scroll to Apply, and select.

Select TV Output Resolution and press the OK button. Scroll to highlight Auto (recommended), 1080i, 720p, or 480p, and press the OK button to select, scroll to Apply, and select.
