FIRST START-UP AND PAIRING

Remove both earphones from the charging box.
Switch the earphones on by pressing and holding the multifunction button (2) on both earphones.
The earphones will switch on and pair with each other. Once the LED (1) starts to alternate between flashing blue and red, the earphones are ready for connection to Bluetooth.
Open Bluetooth settings on your device and search for „Nice boy HIVE Pins 3“ in the list of available devices.
Successful pairing is announced by an acoustic prompt and the LED (1) will start flashing blue at long intervals.

When reconnecting to a device that has already been paired, simply remove the earphones from the box. They will switch on and connect to the device automatically.

SWITCHING ON AND OFF

To switch the earphones on, simply remove them from the charging box, or manually switch them on by pressing and holding both multifunction buttons.
To switch them off, simply place the earphones in the charging box. They will automatically turn off and disconnect from your device. The earphones are placed in the box correctly when the LED (1) turns red. When the earphones are fully charged, the LED goes out. Alternatively, to switch the earphones off, press and hold both multifunction buttons (2) for approx. 5 seconds.

MULTIFUNCTION BUTTON – BASIC CONTROLS

Press any button once – play/pause, answer/hang up
Press and hold the right button – next song, reject call
Press and hold the left button – previous song, reject call
Press the right button twice – increase volume by one level
Press the left button twice – decrease volume by one level
Press the right/left button three times – activate Siri / Google Assistant

CHARGING

Connect the charging cable into a USB port (5) to charge the actual charging box. When charging, the LED diode (4) will flash. After the box is fully charged the diode will shine white.

CONNECTING TO THE APP

Download the app by scanning the QR code using your phone or search for „Nice boy ION“ in the mobile app store and download it.
Start the „Nice boy ION“ app and register a new account or sign in with your existing account.
Set the password and proceed to „Add device“.
Turn on Bluetooth; nearby devices will be detected based on the strength of the signal.
Press the „+“ button.
Wait for „connection“.
If the device was added successfully, „completed“ appears on the screen.
Your device is now successfully connected.
Note: Reset the earphones to factory settings before you pair them with any new device and connect them to the Nice boy ION app.

FACTORY RESET

In case of technical issues, reset the earphones to factory settings as follows.

Insert both earpieces into the charging box, remove them from the list of paired devices, and turn Bluetooth off.
Remove one earpiece. The LED alternates between flashing blue and red.
Press the multifunction button five times in succession (2). The factory reset is signaled by an acoustic prompt; the LED flashes red three times and the earphones switch off.
Put the earpiece back in the charging box and repeat the whole process with the other earpiece.
After removing both earpieces from the charging box, they will switch on automatically and pair with each other. The reset process is now complete.
