Usage

  • Step 1: Download and install the ” BFOUR ” App.

  • Step 2: Press the power button until the LCD lights up with a single beep. This indicates that the booster station is powered on.

  • Step 3: Charge the booster station using a type-C charger. Remove the probes from the booster station. The temperature will display on the screen, indicating that the booster station is paired with the probes.
Connect your smart device to the booster station via Bluetooth. The screen will display the temperature and signal icons, indicating that your device is paired with the booster station.

  • Step 4: Start Cooking

      1. Insert the probes deeply into the meat, ensuring that the notch on the probes is fully covered by the meat.
      1. Set your desired meat temperature or select the meat type and desired doneness within the BFOUR App.
      1. Once the internal temperature reaches your target temperature, an alarm will sound from the booster station and the app. Press the power button to disarm the alarm. The booster station and alarm clock icons will flash. The flashing will stop once the temperature falls below the target temperature or when another target temperature is set.

Attention

  1. If the temperature exceeds 100°C/212°F, the booster station will sound  an alarm, and the screen will display a flashing exclamation mark icon. In such cases, you should immediately stop heating the meat to avoid damaging the probes.
  2. If the black and white probe colors are not positioned correctly on the booster, the temperature will not be displayed on the booster screen. If you are only using one probe, please place the other probe back in its corresponding position on the booster.
  3. The advertised 196ft (60m) distance measurement is based on an accessibility test. However, in real-world scenarios, the actual distance may be shorter than 196ft (60m) due to obstacles or other factors.
  4. When inserting the probes into the meat, position the booster station as close as possible to the cooking device, and monitor the screen for temperature display. If the screen remains blank or an alarm sounds, it indicates a broken connection between the probes and the booster station. In such cases, move the booster station closer to the probes until the temperature is displayed correctly and the alarm clears.
  5. If the device is in standby mode, the booster will automatically shut down and you will need to turn it back on when you use the device.
  6. If the device cannot connect to the phone or if the probe cannot be detected for charging, please contact us via email.

Caution

  1. Due to the presence of sophisticated and delicate electronics within the probes, it is crucial to always insert the probes deeply into the meat so that the notch on the probes is fully covered. This will prevent exposure to extremely high temperatures that could potentially damage the electronics.

  2. Avoid using this device in the microwave as it is not designed for such use.

  3. After use, refrain from touching the probes directly. To prevent burns, it is recommended to wear insulated gloves when handling the probes.

  4. After each use, clean the probes using a clean kitchen towel or rag.
Rinse the probes only when they have returned to a normal temperature.
Avoid rinsing the probes when they are still hot, as it may cause damage.

  5. Once the probes are cleaned, always place them back in the booster station for charging and storage.

  6. Do not immerse the booster station in water, as it is not waterproof.

  7. Avoid placing the probes directly in a burning flame, as it can damage the probes.

  8. Always ensure the probes are placed back into the booster station in the correct position. The black probe should be placed on the left side of the booster, and the white probe should be placed on the right side of the booster.
