Feature
- Docking: Receives the temperature signal from the probe and transmits it to the smart deviceand display, It also serves as a power source to charge the probe.
- Probe: Inserted into meat and measures the internal temperature.
- Probe Battery: When the docking detects that the probe is in the charger, the docking displays “Charge it 1 Min”
- Docking Battery Power Indicator: When the display battery icon is low on power, indicates that the docking is low on power and needs to be charged.
- Connection Indicator: If the probe loses connection to the docking, it will sound an alarm,Press the power button and the alarm will be released.
- Probe Safety Wire: The probe must be inserted beyond the safety line on the probe,avoid damage to the probe.
- Power Button Button: The power button is not only used to turn on and off the docking, but also to click to lift the alarm sound.
- Sensors:Temperature sensors can monitor internal meat temperature up to212°F(100°C).
- Magnetic Suction: You can store as much as you like.

- Pair with Smartphone
- Open your phone GPS and Bluetooth first before using the APP, make sure you have done the first step, and then open the Grill 5.0 APP, turn on the“Hcitool scan”and wait to find the device, and then pair with your phone.
Notice:
- You must make sure GPS and Bluetooth is opening,Because it will affect the connection.
- Our app can not connect 2 or more phone at the same time.
Q:Why should the GPS be turned on in my Android device when I add
a Grill5.0 device?
A:This is required by Android system: the GPS has to be tuned on when you try to pair a Bluetooth device. After adding the device the GPS can be turned off.
iOS does not require the GPS to be on when pairing a Bluetooth device.
Usage
Step 1: Download and install the“Grill 5.0” App.
Step 2: Long press the power button until the LCD display light up with
one“beep”, this indicates that docking is powered on.
Step 3: Charge docking via type-c charger,remove the probe from the
docking and you will see the screen display temperature, which indicates that
the Docking is paired with the probe,when you connect to the docking using
bluetooth on your phone, the screen displays temperature and icons , which
indicates that the phone is paired with the device.
Step 4: Start Cooking
- Insert your probe into the meat deeply enough so that the notch on the probe is fully covered by the meat.
- Set your desired meat temperature or select the meat type and doneness you desire within the Grill 5.0 App.
- Once the temperature reaches your target temperature, an alarm will sound from the docking and App, docking screen and alarm clock icons keep flashing,until the temperature falls below the target temperature or another target temperature is set, release the screen from flashing.
Attention:
- When the temperature >100℃, Docking will sound an alarm and the screen will show an exclamation mark Icon keep flashing, you need to stop heating up to avoid damage to the probe.
- When the device cannot be connected to the phone and the probe cannot be detected to be charged, please contact us via email.
Caution
- There are sophisticated and delicate electronics within the probe,to avoid extremely high heat which could damage the electronics, please ensure to always insert the probe deeply enough into the meat so that the notch on the probe is fully covered by the meat.
- DO NOT use this device in the microwave.
- Do not touch the probe directly after use, Please put on insulated gloves to avoid burns.
- The 229FT (70m) distance measurement is the result of an accessibility test. In practice, the distance may be less than 229FT (70m) due to obstacles or other factors.
- when the probe is inserted into the meat ,place the docking as close as possible, directly outside the cooking device, and always watch the screen to see if the temperature is displayed,if the screen displays nothing or an alarm sounds, which indicates a broken connection between the probe and docking, move the docking closer to the probe until the screen displays the temperature normally and the alarm clears.
- Use a kitchen towel or rag to wipe and clean the probe after each use,rinse the probe when it get back to normal temperature please DO NOT rinse the probe when the temperature is still high, it may damage the device.
- After cleaning the probe, always place the probe in the docking for charging and storage.
- Do not immerse the docking in water.
- Do not place the probes directly in a burning flame.

Trouble Shooting
Q:Why always disconnect the Bluetooth connection?
A: The product uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology with Bluetooth 5.0
module(TI’s CC2640). In an open and unobstructed environment, it can reach a
distance of 70 meters; but it does not penetrate the wall well,dock- ing must
be placed next to the probe for better data detection.
Q: Why no data is displayed after power on?
A: If the probe is not plugged into the socket after powering on, it may not
display the temperature and you can put the probe back into the socket and
take it off again.
NOTE:
If you want to confirm the accuracy of the probe or equipment, it is
recommended that you test in ice water or boiling water. If you think the
temperature of the probe is not accurate, please contact us at
