Product Usage Instructions

Charging the Charging Case:

  1. Connect the C-type USB cable to the charging case and the USB end to a 5V power source.
  2. Plug the USB connector into a USB 5V/1A power source.
  3. The indicator light will glow orange while charging.
  4. It will take approximately 1 to 1.5 hours to fully charge.

Charging the Earbuds:

  1. Place both earbuds into the charging case properly for automatic charging.
  2. The earbuds’ indicator lights will flash white while charging and turn off when fully charged.

Power On/Off:

  • Power On: Open the charging case lid or take out the earbuds from the case. Alternatively, press and hold the Touch Sensitive Area (TSA) on both earbuds simultaneously for 5 seconds.
  • Power Off: Keep both earbuds in the charging case for automatic turn-off.

Smart Pairing and Bluetooth Connectivity:

  1. Open the charging case lid and wait for the earbuds to pair with each other.
  2. Turn on Bluetooth on your phone and connect to pTron OWS.
  3. Earbuds will indicate a connection with a voice prompt.

Control Functions:

  • Mode Change: Long touch TSA on either earbud for Movie or Music mode.
  • Call Handling: Tap once to answer, double tap to end/reject calls.
  • Music Control: Play/pause, skip songs using TSA.
  • Voice Assistant: Activate by four-time touch on TSA for smart voice assistant commands.

Note:
Ensure Voice Assistance is enabled in your media device settings for voice commands.

  • Q: What should I do if the earbuds do not pair with each other?
    A: Make sure the earbuds are properly placed in the charging case and try the pairing process again.

  • Q: How can I check the battery level of the earbuds?
    A: The indicator lights on the earbuds will show the battery status while charging. Solid white indicates full charge.

Important:
pTron ‘Zenbuds Evo X2 Pro’ is set at 50% default volume. You can increase the volume through the Earbuds or the connected device.

CHARGING THE CASE

TO CHARGE THE CHARGING CASE

  1. Connect the C-type USB cable to the charging case and the USB end to a 5V power source.
  2. Plug the USB connector of the cable into a USB 5V/1A power source.
  3. The indicator light will glow orange while the charging case is charging. Depending on the power delivered to the charging case, it will take approximately 1 to 1.5 hours to fully charge. The orange indicator light will turn off when the case is fully charged.
  4. The charging case’s orange indicator light will turned off when the case is fully charged.

CHARGING THE EARBUDS

  1. Place both the earbuds into the charging case properly. Earbuds will start charging automatically.
  2. The earbuds’ indicator lights will flash white while they are charging.
  3. The earbuds’ indicator lights will turn off when they are fully charged.

POWER ON/OFF

  1. POWER ON: Open the charging case lid or Take out the earbuds from the charging case to turn on the earbuds.
    OR
    Press and hold the Touch Sensitive Area (TSA) on both L and R earbuds for 5 seconds simultaneously, then release when you hear the voice prompts, “POWER ON”.

  2. POWER OFF: Keep both earbuds in the charging case; the earbuds will be turned off automatically.

SMART PAIRING AND BLUETOOTH CONNECTIVITY

  1. Open the charging case lid.
  2. Wait for 2-3 seconds until the left and right earbuds pair with each other and white light blink in both earbuds.
  3. Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone, and tap “pTron OWS” to connect. Both earbuds will respond with a voice prompt: “Connected”.
  4. When the Bluetooth signal is lost, the earbuds will respond with a voice prompt “DISCONNECTED” and will shut down automatically after 5 minutes.
  5. When the earbuds power on, the earbuds will connect to the last paired device automatically. If not, please repeat the above steps.

CONTROL FUNCTIONS

Mode Change:

  • Movie Mode: Long touch the TSA on either earbud. Both earbuds will respond with a voice prompt, “Movie Mode”.
  • Music Mode: Long touch the TSA on either earbud. Both earbuds will respond with a voice prompt, “Music Mode”.

Call:

  • To Answer A Call: Tap on the TSA of either earbud once.
  • To End A Call: Double tap on the TSA of either earbud . Both earbuds will respond with “Hang up” sound.
  • To Reject A Call: Double tap on the TSA of either earbud . Both earbuds will respond with a voice prompt “Call rejected”.

Important:
ENC (environmental noise cancellation) mode is by default activated all the time.

Music:

  • To Play and Pause Music: Touch TSA on either earbud once.
  • To Play the next song: Touch TSA on the right earbud twice.
  • To Play the Previous Song: Touch TSA on the Left earbud twice.

Voice Assistant:
Four time-touch on either earbud TSA to activate the default smart voice assistant. The respective voice assistant screen pops up on the connected device and you may place your command.

Important:
If Voice Assistance does not activate, the functionality must first be enabled through your media device settings.

Mono (Single) Earbud Usage

  1. Please note that any earbuds can be used in mono mode. Take out any one earbud from the charging case and close the charging case cap.
  2. The selected earbud automatically enters pairing (connecting) mode.
  3. Turn on Bluetooth on your media device and search for “pTron OWS” to connect.

Important:

  • To switch to Stereo Mode (both earbuds), simply take out the other earbuds from the case. It will automatically power on and pair with the previously selected earbud, hence enabling stereo usage.
  • You cannot use the below functions in mono (single earbud) mode:
    1. Next song or previous song function.

Troubleshooting

  • Scenario 1: One Earbud is Not Working
    • Place both the earbuds in the charging case.
    • Take out both the earbuds together from the charging case.
    • Wait until L & R earbuds pair with each other.
    • Turn ON the Bluetooth on your phone, search for “pTron OWS” & connect.
  • Scenario 2: Earbuds Not Connecting/Scanning
    • Place both the earbuds in the charging case and close the charging case lid.
    • Open the charging case lid and press the reset button for 4 to 5 seconds.
    • Both earbuds’ lights will turn off for a few seconds, then both earbuds’ lights will blink.
    • Now, search for “pTron OWS” on your Bluetooth device and connect.
  • Scenario 3: Earbuds Disconnecting During a Phone Call
1. Charge earbuds 100% before use.
2. Restart the earbuds and reconnect with your device.

Important:
Please use this OWS within a 10-meter wireless range from the connected device.
