Product Usage Instructions
Soft Goods Protein Odour
- Wet the area before applying Protox Odour Free with a Gloria Sprayer.
- Leave the area damp for 24 hours after applying the product.
- Ensure the material/carpet has soaked in the product.
Smoke Odour
- Clean surfaces with Restore Solutions Chemical Dry Cleaning Soot Sponges.
- Apply Protox SC20 solution with brush, Gloria Sprayer, sponge,or cloth and let it work for about 5 minutes.
- Agitate the surface to loosen soot & dirt, then rinse with clean water.
- Wipe the surface dry with a clean dry cloth.|
Air Odours:
- Hydroxyls: Use HQAir unit to fix odours in the air by creating hydroxyl radicals.
- Air Cleaners: Heylo PF1000 H14 HEPA filtration can capture odours in areas up to 250 cubic meters.
Protox Hysan with Protox Activator
- Mix 25ml Activator with 5 Liters of Hysan and let it sit for 24 hours to create Free Chlorine Dioxide Gas.
- Pour into containers and place in rooms to remove odours (5 liters cover approx. 100msq).
- Use full PPE with full face respirator when handling.

A: It is recommended to leave the area damp for 24 hours after applying the

Why, the importance of odour elimination?
Odours, apart from being unpleasant, can be caused by other underlying issues,
such as, damp, mould, bacteria, proteins, urine etc. If the source of the
odour is not identified this could lead to health issues, such as respiratory
problems and skin irritations.
How to
Soft Goods Protein Odour
Protox Odour Free contains no fragrances and therefore does not “overdo” the
bad odour, but the composition of the product causes the odours to be
encapsulated and degraded by the micro-organisms. The micro-organisms ensure a
long-lasting effect.
- Wet cleaning is preferred. Wet the area before applying Protox Odour Free with a Gloria Sprayer.
- Leave the area damp for 24 hours after applying the product (the longer the better).
- Note: It is important that the Odour Free is applied to wet material and the material/carpet has soaked it in.
Smoke Odour (Refer to Fire Cleaning Guide)
- Begin by cleaning all surfaces with Restore Solutions Chemical Dry Cleaning Soot Sponges
- Dry the area and then apply Protox SC20 Application: Apply with brush, Gloria Sprayer, sponge or cloth, let the Protox SC20 solution work for about 5 minutes.
- Agitate the surface thoroughly to loosen the soot & dirt, then rinse away the Protox SC20 with clean water.
- With a clean dry cloth, wipe the surface dry removing the wet cleaning marks.
Air Odours
Hydroxyls: This will help to fix odours in the air by making a free radical
called a hydroxyl the HQAir unit is safe and will do about 150 cubic meters.
Air Cleaners: The Heylo PF1000 H14 HEPA filtration can help to capture the
odours. The maximum size area is 250 cubic meters for 1 filter unit.
Protox Hysan with Protox Activator
- Add Activator to Hysan (Use 25ml Activator to 5 Liters of Hysan) and replace lid. N ote: mix in the bottle 24 hours before to create Free Chlorine Dioxide Gas.
- Pour into containers and place in the rooms you want to remove the odour from, 5 litres will cover approx. 100msq.
This MUST be done using full PPE with full face respirator with chemical and HEPA filter. Refer to the SDS.
