SAFETY INFORMATION

  • This product is rated IP54 and suitable for indoor use in dry locations.
  • Do not submerge in liquids nor use the product in the vicinity of standing water or other liquids, or where water can accumulate.
  • Do not use if there is any damage to the product; inspect periodically.
  • Do not install in tanks or enclosures of any kinds.

Products should be installed in accordance with these instructions, current electrical codes, and/or the current National Electric Code (NEC).

PREPARING FOR INSTALLATION

Follow all instructions to reduce risk of fire, electric shock, or injury. Turn off circuit breaker before starting. If connecting to network via Wi-Fi or Ethernet cable, ensure network is active for Wi-Fi performance or that cable is ready for Ethernet connection. If using RS485, preset relevant cables.

WIRING FIXTURE CORRECTLY

(See Figure 1): Ensure the copper wire is in contact with the terminal with no exposed wire. Fix the base panel to the gang box with mounting screws before securing screen panel. Avoid overly tightening screws to prevent damage to hardware or screen.

MOUNTING FIXTURE TO WALL

(See Figures 2 & 3): To confirm the live wire in the cassette is not live, use a test pen. Separate screen from base panel by pulling apart. Secure base panel to gang box with the arrow pointing up. Attach screen back to base by using bottom tabs for reference before clicking into place.
