Product Information

This user manual provides installation instructions for Triple Column Refrigerator Models DRR, DRZ, and DRW. These instructions are applicable to all sizes (18, 24, 30 & 36) of Column Refrigeration models that use custom panels. The manual also specifies that Trio installation configurations are recommended to use Modernist style or handle-less door handle options, while Pro style door handles should not be used.

The installation kit, labeled as pt.# RAC00TCAAAA includes the following items:

  1. Installation Instructions
  2. Upper Joining Bracket
  3. Right Adjustable Bracket
  4. Left Adjustable Bracket
  5. Rear Joining Bracket

In addition to the installation kit, you will also need the Dacor-Pairing Installation Kit pt.# RAC00CPAAAA (Qty. 2).

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Before starting the installation process, confirm the depth of the cabinet opening. The minimum cabinet depth required is 25 inches. If your cabinetry depth is greater than 25 inches, you need to install an adjustable bracket (figure 1) on the top rear of each column refrigerator to prevent the units from moving backward over time.
  2. On the adjoining side of each column refrigerator that will be paired, remove the screw at the top rear corner and set it aside for later use.
  3. Carefully roll the attached columns into the cabinetry opening, ensuring that both units are plugged in. Slowly raise the units to the desired height by adjusting the leveling legs bit by bit.
  4. Place the right adjustable bracket on the upper left corner of one column and place the left adjustable bracket on the upper right corner of the other column.
  5. Position the Upper Joining Bracket over the two adjustable brackets, aligning the center holes of the Joining Bracket with the holes in each column. Insert the screws saved from step 2 and fasten the brackets together. Do not fully tighten the screws; they should be loose enough to allow the adjustable brackets to slide backward and brace against the back wall of the cabinetry opening (figures 3 & 4).
  6. Using the screws provided with the mounting kit, secure the Left & Right Mounting Brackets to the back wall of the cabinetry opening. If you are securing the brackets to drywall, use wall anchors.
  7. Fully tighten the two screws left loose in step 6 to complete the mounting kit installation.
  8. From in front of the units, remove the kick plates of each column.
  9. Insert the Lower Front Joining Bracket behind the kick plates as shown.
  10. One at a time, place the kick plates in front of the bracket and re-affix each in place using the original screws that held the kick plates.
  11. Follow the remaining installation process as outlined in the unit’s Installation Manuals.

Refer to the installation manuals supplied with the units for complete installation instructions.
