Get Started with Your Cue Travel Case

The Cue Travel Case is a safe, convenient way to store and protect your Cue Reader. It can hold two Cue Readers and four Cue test cartridge pouches, and keep your accessories organized with a mesh pocket. Equipped with wireless charging capabilities, simply plug in your Travel Case so your Cue Reader is ready to use anytime you need.

Connect to a power source

Plug in your Travel Case to a power source with a USB-C cable and power adapter. Now, your Travel Case is ready to wirelessly charge your Cue Reader*.

Wirelessly charge your Cue Reader

With your Travel Case plugged into a power source, place your Cue Reader into the charging tray with the LED lights visible from the top. When charging begins, the USB port will glow white and fade away

Check the Cue Reader battery level

When you place or remove your Cue Reader onto the Travel Case charging tray, your Reader’s lights will pulse for five seconds to show its battery level once it confirms that wireless charging has begun/stopped

Your Cue Reader must be updated to firmware version 1.3.0 or later to use wireless charging. To protect your Reader, wireless battery charging may slow or pause depending on the surrounding temperature. Charging performance may vary from Reader to Reader. For best charging performance, keep your Travel Case and Reader in a cool environment.

Troubleshooting

The USB port of your Travel Case will glow to indicate errors and alerts. If you are experiencing issues, please begin troubleshooting by ensuring there is nothing between the charging surfaces of your Travel Case and Cue Reader. You may also try removing the Cue Reader from the charging tray, and replace it after 10 seconds. For more assistance, please call 833-283-8378 or email support@cue.me. If the Reader won’t charge in the tray:

Check that the Travel Case is plugged in to power.
Check the Cue Health App to confirm your Reader is updated to version 1.3.0 or later.
Check that the Travel Case recognizes the Reader. The USB port should glow WHITE for 5 seconds when the Reader begins charging.
- Make sure the Reader is right-side-up with the Reader LEDs visible in the tray.
- Make sure there are no foreign objects in the tray.

If the USB port turns RED at any point:

Remove the Reader from the tray and check to make sure there are no metallic objects in the tray or magnetically stuck to the bottom of the Reader. Wait 10 seconds, then put it back.
Unplug the Travel Case from power. Wait 10 seconds, then plug the Travel Case back in.
If the RED light persists, contact support from the Cue Health App or call 1 (833)-CUE-TEST.

Warnings

Do not attempt to run a Cue test while the Cue Reader is charging in the Travel Case.
Wireless charging is compatible only with the Cue Reader
Only use the Cue power adapter and Cue charging cable
Never use a damaged USB cable or power supply
When charging, keep the Travel Case open and on a flat surface
Do not put metallic objects in the charging tray
Do not submerge or expose the Travel Case to liquids
Do not use or store near an open flame
Do not pull the power cord excessively when unplugging
Stay within electrical ratings
Do not put any objects between the Cue Reader and charging tray. Doing so may damage or disrupt the function of the Travel Case
Do not attempt to wirelessly charge a malfunctioning Cue Reader
Refer to the Cue Health Monitoring System User Manual and your test’s Instructions for Use for storage conditions of the Cue Reader and test cartridges.
