Installation and Operation
- The unit can be installed on leveled ground or hung up securely.
- Press and hold the ON Switch for about 3 seconds to activate both emergency lamps.
- Always turn off the unit using the OFF switch when not in use.
- Install indoors away from direct sunlight, rain, or moisture.
- Store in temperatures under 25°C and charge the battery every 3 months.
Product Usage Instructions
- To turn on the lamp without plugging it in, press the ON switch.
- To turn off the lamp without plugging it in, press the OFF switch.
- Use the Switch Test button to test the device’s availability.
- Press the ON switch after installation to activate the unit.

Status Indicators and Testing Button
- LED AC Indicate that the unit is receiving power.
- LED Charge/Full Gives information on battery charging.
- LED ON Indicate the unit is ready for operation.
- Switch ON Press to turn on the lamp (while the unit is not plugged in).
- Switch OFF Press to turn off the lamp (while the unit is not plugged in).
- Switch Test For testing the device’s availability. (during normal circumstance)
Features
- Controlled by a highly intelligent 8-bit micro controller.
- Using high quality LEDs with a lifetime of over 50,000 hours, providing bright and constant illimitation throughout its operation.
- The unit’s outer case is made from ABS UL94 V-O Flame Retardant plastic that is highly resistant to impact and corrosion.
- The Power ON function is designed for when the user wants to install the units in a site that might not currently be ready. With this function the emergency lamp will not yet activate and will not unnecessarily use up the lifetime of the battery.
Installation and Operation
- The unit can be installed on leveled ground or hung up.
- Install properly and securely to prevent accidents that could cause damage to the unit or other people and property.
- Press and hold the ON Switch for about 3 seconds. Both emergency lamps will illuminate and the LED ON light on the unit will turn on indicating that the unit is operational.
- Plug the unit into a power socket with a 220-240VAC power supply. The emergency lamp will remain on for about 5 seconds before turning off.
- The AC LED light will show if the unit is receiving power from the power socket. The Charge/Full LED will blink if the battery is charging and will remain on when the battery if fully charged.
- When the user is ready to put the unit into operation, the user can test the unit using the Test button. The lamp on the unit will turn on for 5 seconds and then turn off. After the test the unit will return to its normal operation mode.
Important Note on Using the Unit
- Always press the “ON” switch every time after installation to turn on the unit.
- When the unit is not in use always turn it off by pressing the “OFF” switch.
- The unit should be installed indoors away from direct sunlight and rain or moisture.
- The unit should be stored in temperatures under 25 Degree Celsius and the battery should be charged every 3 months to maintain its operational life.

Terms for Warranty and Service
- The Warranty will only be covered if the customer fills in the “warranty registration form” and mail the return part back to the company within 7 days from the day of purchase. If this is not carried out the warranty will be considered void.
- The warranty only covers the unit’s internal parts. The conditions and durations for the warranty of each part is as specified and the duration of the warranty is calculated from the date of purchase.
- Please show your warranty card every time you contact our service center or the dealer you purchased the product from.
- Products that fall into the following category are considered not covered by the warranty.
- The product was used in a way not specified in the manual.
- The product was used with accessories not meeting the required specifications specified in the manual.
- The product seems to have been damaged from being dropped or from a strong impact, for example, the parts are loose, dented, scrapped or misshapen.
- The product has been repaired or modified by personnel not authorized by our company. The Warranty Void sticker is torn or removed.
- The product is damaged from careless use or incorrect maintenance, for example, the battery is swollen from overcharging, quick charging was used on the battery, the battery terminals have been short-circuited, the unit was used until the battery was completely discharged and not recharged immediately, the product was stored for long periods until the Battery Checker warning activates and still it is not plugged-in to charge or taking the battery to normal temperature conditions and not recharging it every 1 month.
- The product was stored in an unsuitable environment, for example, a location with moisture or water vapor.
- The product was supplied with a faulty AC power supply such as electrical overvoltage, electrical current surges, or lightning strikes entering the AC power line.
- Damages from natural causes such as fire, being summered in fluids, humidity, chemicals or force majeure.
- Damages from insects or animals.
