Login to Venus and Access Account

1. Navigate to Venus
   Login Page.

2. Enter your account credentials and log in.

3. If login fails eight consecutive times, contact the account
   manager to unlock the account.

Launchpad Dashboard

The Launchpad Dashboard consists of three main sections that may
vary based on your subscription level:

• Main Features Section
• Apps Section
• User Information Section

User Menu Options

• Switch Accounts: Swap between different
  accounts within VCS.

• Switch Theme: Change the aesthetic theme of
  VCS to light, dark, or system.

• About: View details about the Launchpad and
  VCS, including Support Options, Open Source Attributions, and
  Version Information.

• Logout: Click to log out of the user
  account.

The Venus Control Suite Launchpad is the central hub to access all the features of Venus Control Suite. This guide aims to walkthrough the basic functions of the Launchpad.
Login to Venus and Access Account
1. Navigate to https://venus.daktronics.com/identityserver/Account/ Login.
2. Enter account credentials and log in. Refer to Figure 1.

Note: The account will lock if login fails eight consecutive times. If this happens, contact the account manager to unlock the account.

Launchpad Dashboard
There are three main sections to the Launchpad Dashboard:

· My Apps – This section will list all Venus Control Suite apps available to the account. Selecting any of these apps will redirect the page to the app. This menu can also be viewed by selecting the My Apps menu in the top right corner of the browser page.

· Upload – This section allows users to quickly upload or view uploaded media. Select the box or drag and drop files into the area to begin uploading media.

· Getting Started – This section contains supplemental material for first-time or experienced Venus users. Selecting Training will open the Daktronics’ Venus Control Suite Onboarding site. This site contains all the Daktronics training material for Venus Control Suite. Selecting Knowledge Base will open the Daktronics Knowledge Base site. The Daktronics Knowledge Base provides support solutions, troubleshooting information, and instructional guides. Selecting Daktronics Blog will open the Daktronics blog where the latest Daktronics’ news can be found. Selecting Free Media will open the collection of free media provided by Daktronics.

Note: Refer to Figure 2 for a complete view of the Venus Control Suite Launchpad Dashboard.
These sections and their contents make up the Venus Launchpad Dashboard and vary based on the features and apps available in the subscription level of the associated account.

User Menu
The name or email address of the currently logged-in user is displayed in the upper-right corner of Venus® Control Suite. Click this name to open four menu items: Switch Accounts, Switch Themes, About, and Logout. Refer to Figure 3.

Switch Accounts
Switch Accounts is used to swap between different accounts within VCS. Select or search and select the desired account from the switch account menu to access VCS using the selected account’s credentials.

Switch Theme
Switch Theme is used to switch the aesthetic theme of VCS. The options are light, dark, and system.
About
About will open the About details of the Launchpad and VCS. This page can be used to get information on Support Options, Open Source Attributions, and Version Information.

Logout
Click the Logout button to log out of the user and return to the login screen.
