WARNING

FALL HAZARD – Children can fall from the Hip Seat if they are not properly supported.
IMPORTANT: One arm MUST support the child at all times when using the Hip Seat.

Before each use, make sure all fasteners are secure.
Take special care when leaning or walking.
Never bend at waist; bend at knees.
Only use this Hip Seat for children with strong head control (~6 months or 17 lbs (7.7 kg)) and up to 45 lbs (20.4kg).

WARNINGS:

Regularly inspect the Hip Seat for any sign of wear and damage.
Check for ripped seams, torn straps or fabrics and damaged fasteners before each use.
Keep the Hip Seat away from children when it is not in use.
To prevent hazards from falling, ensure that your child is securely positioned on the Hip Seat.
Your balance may be adversely affected by your movement and that of your child.
Take care when bending or leaning forward or sideways.
This Hip Seat is not suitable for use during sporting activities, eg. running, cycling, swimming and skiing.
If you nurse the child on the Hip Seat, always reposition after feeding so baby’s face is not pressed against your body.

PRECAUTIONS FOR USE OF ERGOBABY™ CARRIER:

Check to assure all buckles, snaps, straps and adjustments are secure before each use. Never use the Hip Seat while engaging in activities such as cooking and cleaning which involve a heat source or exposure to chemicals. Never use the Hip Seat when balance or mobility is impaired because of exercise, drowsiness, or medical conditions. Be aware that as the baby becomes more active, the child has more risk of falling off of the Hip Seat. Never use/wear more than one Hip Seat at a time.
Never use the Hip Seat when fabric, fastener or buckle is damaged. Only carry one child at a time on the Hip Seat. Never wear a Hip Seat while driving or being a passenger in a vehicle. Be careful when drinking hot beverages to avoid spilling hot drinks onto the baby while using the Hip Seat. Never unbuckle the waistbelt while the baby is on the Hip Seat. The references to ages by month are only general guidelines and each baby’s development is different. Please check that your baby meets the specific requirements for use. WARNING:
IMPORTANT: One arm MUST support the child at all times when using the Hip Seat Carrier.

Remove foam seat base before washing the Hip Seat.
Fasten all buckles and zippers before washing.
Use mild detergent that does not include bleach, perfumes, dyes, chlorine, or optical brighteners.
