Thank you for purchasing a Snow Peak product. This product is a wireless charger for Giga Power Battery (sold separately) for camping. For safety, read the following instruction manual before use. Please keep it safe for future reference. Finally, if you find anything that you do not understand in the description or any problems with the product, please stop use immediately and contact the retailer or Snow Peak Customer Service.

  • Do not disassemble or alter this product. It may result in electric shocks.
  • This product is an optional product for the ES-121 Giga Power Battery 15000 or the ES-122 Giga Power Battery 30000 (sold separately). Do not use any other power supply with this product. It can lead to heat build-up, fire, or other unexpected accidents caused by the product malfunctioning or falling over.
  • Before using this product, read the instruction manual for the Giga Power Battery that is to be connected to this product.
  • Do not touch the USB terminal, or connect to or disconnect from a Giga Power Battery, with wet hands. It may result in battery leakage, heat build-up, bursting, fire, and/or electric shocks.
  • Children may only use this product under adult supervision of their guardian. A child using this product unattended may result in electric shocks and/or other injuries.
  • Keep out of reach of infants and children. Use due caution to prevent playing with this product. It may result in accidental swallowing of parts or other injuries.
  • Do not place any metal cover, clips, stickers, coins, or other metal objects between the device and this product. It may lead to fire, including that starting from metal parts, as well as malfunction of the device and/or this product.

WARNING / Misuse could result in serious injury or death.

  • Before using the product, check each part for abnormalities. If there are abnormalities, take the product to the dealer or Snow Peak Customer Service for inspection or repair.
  • Make sure that this product is properly connected to the Giga Power Battery before use. If this product cannot be properly connected to the Giga Power Battery, stop using this product.
  • Turn the joint ring completely to securely attach this product to the Giga Power Battery for use. Using this product incorrectly connected may lead to fire or electric shocks.
  • Regularly remove dust from the USB plug. It may result in fire or electric shocks.
  • The operating temperature range for this product is 0°C~35°C/32°F~95°F. Do not use this product under conditions that are outside of the operating temperature range. It may cause unusual heat build-up, fire, and/or malfunction. The charging function may stop or charging time may be prolonged when this product reaches a certain temperature.
  • Do not place this product near fire or where it can be exposed to high temperatures such as near heating equipment. It may cause unusual heat build-up and/or fire.
  • Do not place this product near a burner or any other heat source, or where it can be exposed to high temperatures such as inside a car in hot weather. Otherwise, you may sustain burns or this product may malfunction.
  • Do not use this product in any place where it can be exposed to a large amount of water or be immersed in water. It may cause electric shock and/or malfunction.
  • Do not use this product with the main unit covered with a cloth or other covering. It can cause electric shocks and/or fire.
  • Do not throw this product or subject it to hard impacts. It may result in fire, burns, and/or injuries.
  • The operation of this product may affect the functions of pacemakers, defibrillators, and other medical devices. If you are using any of such medical devices, check with your physician or the medical device manufacturer before using this product.

CAUTION / Misuse could result in injury to the user and/or damage to property.

  • Do not place any heavy object weighing 900g / 31.7oz or more on top of the holder. It can lead to unexpected accidents. •When using this product, place it on a flat, stable
    surface to prevent it from falling over or dropping. It may cause damage to the main unit, Giga Power Battery, and/or the device. •Do not lift or move this product with the device
    loaded on it. It may cause the device to fall and/or this product to break.

  • Keep this product away from direct sunlight. The surface of the main unit becomes hot and may cause burns.

  • Store the product in a dry, cool place, away from heat and moisture.

  • Do not place this product near a burner or any other heat source, or where it can be exposed to high temperatures such as inside a car in hot weather. It may result in malfunction and/or deformation.

  • During wireless charging, this product or the device may heat up. This is not a defect.

  • To lift or move this product while it is connected to a Giga Power Battery, hold the battery instead of the charger. Otherwise, malfunction and/or deformation may result.

  • If you dropped this product, contact your local dealership or Snow Peak User Service for inspection even when there is no visible damage.

  • Signal quality may deteriorate during wireless charging, preventing incoming calls or some functions from working.

  • Leaving this product for a long period of time after full charge may reduce the battery level

  • If any case, anti-drop ring, camera lens, or other accessories are attached to the device during wireless charging, it may prevent or delay charging. Remove all accessories from the device before wireless charging.

  • Do not allow cards and passports with an IC chip and/or a magnetic stripe to come close to this product. It may cause damage to the IC chip or magnetic stripe.

  • Do not use wireless charging with a device that is being charged via the cable. It may result in device failure or malfunction.

  • Some OS or installed apps may prevent or delay charging.

  • The operation of this product may interfere with the reception of televisions and/or radios. If you hear noise or static in the television or radio, use this product away from the television or radio.

Instructions for Use

  1. Connect the Giga Power Battery (“battery”) and the charger with the logos facing front. Make sure that the charger’s USB-C terminal and the battery’s USB-C1 port, and the charger’s positioning tabs and the battery’s positioning grooves, respectively mate.

  2. Tighten the joint ring, placing it on the screw at the top of the battery, to fix the charger in place.
    When installing, be sure to rotate the joint ring. Rotating the main body may cause it to malfunction or become deformed.
    If the joint ring is crooked, loosen it and then re-tighten it properly. * Make sure that the joint ring is firmly tightened. The charger can fall off if the joint ring is not tightened enough. It may also compromise sufficient waterproof performance.
  3. (Flip up the lock knob and turn the knob to loosen it. Then adjust it to your desired angle and turn the angle adjustment knob again in the opposite direction to fix it in place.
  • When adjusting the angle, do not mount the device on the holder. Loosening the lock knob while the device is still on the holder suddenly changes the holder angle, which can result in the device falling off.snow-peak-ES-190-Giga-Power-Charger-\(11\) 4. Place the device on the holder and check whether wireless charging starts.

Note: Before charging, remove any cases thicker than 2mm, metal or magnetic cases or accessories, or credit cards.

  • When placing the device on the holder, make sure that the holder does not descend or drop.
  • Do not move this product and the device while charging.

* If the charger is left connected to the battery for a long period of time (two hours or longer) after the charged device has been removed from the charger, perform the following steps:

  • Press the switch on the battery.
  • Charge the charger from the USB-C2 port on the back side of the battery.
  • Connect this product to and disconnect this product from the battery.

Removing the product

  1. Remove the device from the charger and then turn the joint ring to the left while holding the charger with one hand.
  2. Once the joint ring comes off the battery’s screw, lift up the charger to remove it from the battery.

When removing the product, be sure to rotate the joint ring. Rotating the main body may cause it to malfunction or become deformed.
Lift the charger straight up when removing. Twisting it or lifting it diagonally may damage the USB-C terminal.

Storage

  1. Hold the holder vertically and turn the lock knob to flip it up.
  2. Place the main unit in the storage case.

Maintenance

  • Before using a product that has been in storage for a long time, check each part for abnormalities. If there are abnormalities, take the product to the retailer or contact Snow Peak Customer Service for inspection or repair.
  • Gently wipe the main unit using cloth dampened with water or diluted dish detergent (mild detergent).
  • Periodically wipe the USB plug with tissue paper or dry cloth.

Snow Peak has taken all possible measures to ensure every product is durable and functions correctly. If you find any product defects, please contact the retailer where you purchased the product or Snow Peak Customer Service. If there are apparent defects in the product’s manufacturing, the defective product will be repaired or exchanged free of charge. In other cases, Snow Peak will repair the product for an appropriate fee. The decision to repair or replace the product will be at our discretion. Snow Peak will not repair the product for any damage that occurred due to the following:

  1. Material deterioration caused by age.
  2. Damage caused by modifications or rough handling.
  3. Damage caused by inappropriate use not mentioned in the instruction manual.
  4. Damage caused by unexpected accidents.
  5. Any damage other than defects in the manufacturing process.
  6. Damage caused by dust or rust.
  7. Damage and defects caused by dismantling the product.
  8. Damage and defects caused by dropping, jolting or other shocks.
  9. Deterioration or failure of parts due to friction.
  10. Damage caused by the use of the product in combination with another manufacturer’s products.

Repair

  • If professional repairs are required, please contact the retailer where you purchased the product or Snow Peak Customer Service.
  • When you request repairs, please make sure that the product is dry and clean.
  • Please attach a memo or a tag indicating the necessary repair and please write details of how and when the damage occurred.
  • Transportation and repair costs are determined as follows:
    1. Within warranty: The transportation cost (both ways) and repair cost will be covered by Snow Peak. /
    2. Outside warranty: The transportation cost (both ways) and repair cost will be covered by the customer.
