Product Usage Instructions

1. Compliance with FCC Rules
   Ensure that the device is operated in compliance with Part 15 of the FCC Rules to prevent harmful interference.

2. Radiation Exposure
   Install and operate the equipment with a minimum distance of 20cm between the radiator and your body to comply with FCC radiation exposure limits.

3. Warning on Modifications
   Do not make changes or modifications to the device that are not expressly approved by the responsible party as it could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.

HOW TO REGISTER

1. Scan the Smart Life QR Code to download the app or search “Smart Life” in APP Store (105) and Google Play (Android) for download.
2. Account Registration Register a new account (Email Address) or log in with an existing account.

Notes: The Smart life App is required to operate the lock. After the lock is properly installed, make sure this step is performed by the lock owner.

PAIRING YOUR LOCK

1. Turn on your phone’s Bluetooth and stay near the lock (within 3 meters) Click “Add Device” on the App. 2
2. Successful connection! You can click this icon to rename the lock or just click “Done” to complete the pairing. Automatically. anthe will come ufior seconds. which means the lock system is well-prepared.

HOW TO SET UP THE DOOR OPENING DIRECTION IN APP

If the bolt doesn’t come out in 40 seconds, that means the system fails to identify left or right hinge door. In this case, please follow the below instructions:

1. Please adjust the spindle and the Interior Panel Knob to a vertical position according to the user manual (Part INSTALLING EXTERIOR PANEL and INSTALLING INTERIOR PANEL)
2. Press “more” on the setting page, and click “lock_motor_direction” to choose Right Hinge or Left Hinge according to your door.

MEMBER MANAGEMENT

Select “Member Management” and tap “+” to add/share/cancel members.

APP LOCK/UNLOCK
Drag  to the left side to lock.
Drag to the right side to unlock.

ADD FINGERPRINT
Press “Add” and follow the instructions to add fingerprints.

Warm tips:

1. Please keep your fingers and sensing area clean and dry before inputing your fingerprint.
2. For improving the fingerprint recognition rate of the elderly, children or people with light fingerprints, it is necessary to create more fingerprint files and input different angles of their fingerprints.
3. For your privacy, your fingerprints will be stored in the device only.

ADD CODE Code Input:
Tap “Add code” and Enter a 6-8 digit password and set a code name.

Warm tips

1. Password Privacy: Save your password as the app won’t display it.
2. After you set the password, you must “Save” it to take effect.
3. Please end with “v” for the correct password entry, or it will fail.

Note:If an error occurs for five consecutive times during unlock verification, the system will be locked for 120 seconds.

RESTORE FACTORY SETTINGS

• Press and hold the Reset Button with the pin for 5 seconds to restore factory setting.
• You can also restore factory setting by removing device through app as shown.

1. Q: Why can’t I find the lock in the app during pairing?

   • A: Tap on the fingerprint sensor to wake up the lock before pairing
   • A: Or check your phone’ Bluetooth is on.

2. Q: Does S02 work with third-party accessories for example deadbolt latch?
   A:lt is recommended to use the original accessories for best performance and stability.

3. Q: What should I do when I can’t lock/unlock through app? Al: Check you are within the Buletooth rage of the lock.
   A2: If It doesn’t work after Al check, please delete the lock and add again on the app.

4. Q: How to remotely control the lock?
   A: It need to be connected a gateway to realize remote control via Smart Life app.

5. Q: Speaker has not noise when unlocking and locking even though the lock has power.

6. A1: Please check whether turn on the mute mode on the Smart Life App.

7. A2: If It doesn’t work after Al check, the speaker might be broken and contact after-sales as soon as possible.

8. Q: If the batteries run out, how can I unlock the lock?

9. A1: Power on the lock by connecting the lock to a power bank via the type-c power port on the bottom of the exterior handle.

10. A2: Use the mechanical key or rotate the thumb turn and knob of interior assembly to left.

Packing list

CHECK THE DOOR’S DIMENSIONS

1. Step 1: Measure to confirm that the door is between ( 35mm~54mm) thick.
2. Step 2: Measure to confirm that the hole in the door is (54mm).
3. Step 3: Measure to confirm that the backset is either- (60-70mm).
4. Step 4 : Measure to confirm that the hole in the door edge is 1″ (25 mm).
5. Step 5: Measure to confirm that the distance between the two 54mm holes of the door is 140mm or 102mm. Latch

Note : If drilling a new door, use the supplied template

Install the Latchs

Install the Strike Plate

The bevel of the latch shall be aligned to the bevel of the strike plate.

Remove Battery Cover & Mounting Plate

• Dig the groove on the interior assembly to remove the battery cover as shown. .
• Loosen the 3 pcs screw B on the interior assembly and remove mounting plate.

Before installation,make sure the Latch A is fully retracted (in the unlocked position)
