Product Usage Instructions
Pre-treatment:
FC2000 EURO CLEAR COAT is suitable to be applied on top of a clean and dust- free LAUCO base coat. Refer to the TDS of the basecoat for other substrate preparation.
Mixing Ratio:
- FC2000 Clear Coat: 100 (vol)
- FH2010, FH2020, FH2030 Activator: 50 (vol)
- 100 g FC2000 Clear Coat + 49 g Activator
Spray Application:
Spray guns:
- HVLP gravity-feed spray gun
- Compliant gravity-feed spray gun
Drying and Further Treatment:
- Number of spray coats: 1 thin + 1 wet coat
- Flash-off: 30 mins
- Film thickness: 90 mins
- Drying Time: Dust-free after 6 hours, Ready for assembly after 11-13 hours
- IR Drying: Step 1 – short wave: 5 mins at an 80 cm distance, Step 2 – medium wave: 20 mins at an 80 cm distance
- Polish: After specified drying times and cooling
