Product Charging and Installation
- Charger 220V: Charge the TEMO.1000 to 100% before the first use. Remove the cap from the charging connector and insert the charger cable, then plug the charger into a 220V socket. The charger indicator turns red during the charging process and then green when fully charged. Put the plug back on the connector before use. Charge in a temperate area. Check the charge level every 3 months.
- Front connector: Connects to the motor for operation.
- Motor bracket: Fix to the transom of your boat using the pressure screws. Slide your motor into the bracket to secure it and lower the main handle so that the motor is locked in place. Before reversing, ensure the stand is pushed to the rear.
Product Operation
- Trim / shaft height: For maximum performance, position the propeller below the hull (shaft height adjustment) and ensure the motor is vertical during use (trim setting).
- ON/OFF button: Controls the power of the motor.
- Battery insertion: Carefully insert the battery following the correct direction.
- Trim and tilt setting: Adjust for optimal performance.

MOTOR SPECIFICATIONS
CHARGING AND INSTALLATION
Charger 220V :
Charge the TEMO.1000 to 100% before the first use. Remove the cap from the
charging connector and insert the charger cable, then plug the charger into a
220V socket. The charger indicator turns red during the charging process and
then green when fully charged. Put the plug back on the connector before use.
Charge in a temperate area. Check the charge level every 3 months.
Wintering:
For storage period ex ceeding 1 month, switch the battery into winte-ring
mode. To activate it, follow these steps:
- Check that your battery is showing a charge level of less than 50% by pressing the ON/OFF button on the battery for 2 seconds (try to ensure that there are two green LEDs at maximum on the battery).
- Connect the charger to connector at the back of the battery, then plug it to the main power.
- Keep pressing the ON/OFF button on the battery for 5 seconds. When the wintering mode is activated, the first LED flashes alternately red and green. The battery LEDs will light up gradually as the battery recharges.
- When the charging level reaches 50%, the wintering mode is activated and the battery switches to standby mode (all lights switch off).
- Disconnect the charger when the battery is in standby mode by first removing the wall plug.
- The wintering mode is automatically deactivated when the battery is reconnected or plugged onto the motor.
Motor bracket:
To be fixed to the transom of your boat using the pressure screws. Then slide
your motor into the bracket to secure it and lower the main handle so that the
motor is locked in place. Before you reverse, make sure the stand is pushed to
the rear.
OPERATION
Trim / shaft height:
For maximum performance, make sure that the propeller is posi-tioned below the
hull (shaft height adjustment) and that your motor is vertical when using it
(trim setting).
Start-up:
switch on your motor by pressing the ON/OFF button on the display for 1
second. Insert the battery carefully, paying attention to the direction of
insertion! Wait 5 seconds for the electronics to boot up. Pass the strap
around your wrist. Insert the magnetic key into its slot. Turn the control
handle. The propeller cannot be activated without the magnetic key. The wrist
strap and magnetic key are to be attached to the hemsman’s wrist so that in
the event of a fall over board, the engine is stopped (“emergency shutdown”).
CONTROL PANEL
Motor stuck :

Remove the magnetic key and turn off the motor before attempting to release the propeller

If one of these indicator lights is on, follow these instructions: Turn off the motor. Check that the propeller is not clogged. Let the system cool down for 30 minutes. If the problem still persists, then contact the Customer Service department.
PRECAUTIONS FOR USE

Never leave children alone with the TEMO.1000.

Never use the TEMO.1000 if you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication.

Never use it in a swimming area or within 3 metres of any person swimming.

Operate the TEMO.1000 only when the propeller is in the water.

Never attach the TEMO.1000 directly to the user.

The wearing of life jackets and safety equipment are mandatory.

Rinse with fresh water after each use.

Store the battery at a temperature between 0° and 45°C.

Recycle in compliance with current regulations.
-
In the event of an impact on the battery compartment or on one of its edges, contact the TEMO customer service and do not use your TEMO.1000 motor.
