Classroom Requirements
A classroom setting large enough for 30-35 students is needed to view the PowerPoint presentation. Ensure the following equipment is available:
- Projector, screen, and speakers for the presentation
- Internet access
Live Deployment Room Setup
Prepare a large room for live deployment drills and scenarios with the following items:
- Six (6) target stands (6′ tall, 24 wide)
- Two (2) training guns, two (2) training knives, and a training baton
- Eight (8) reflective safety vests
Voluntary Exposures Setup
Set up for voluntary exposures with the following items:
- Large athletic training mats
- Latex gloves, antiseptic wipes, and bandages
- Biohazard sharps container for proper disposal.
The following outlines the space and equipment requirements to host a TASER Energy Weapon Instructor Course.
TWO SEPARATE CLASSROOMS
- A classroom setting large enough for 30-35 students to view the PowerPoint presentation.
- Projector, screen, and speakers for the presentation
- Internet access
- A large room to safely conduct live deployment drills and scenarios. At a minimum, the room should be 40’ long and 18-20’ wide.
- Six (6) target stands (6’ tall, 24” wide to accommodate the TASER Ruggedized Professional Target).
- An equipment list and plans to build target stands are available upon request via email at training@taser.com
- Two (2)training guns, two (2) training knives, and a training baton
- Eight (8) reflective safety vests
VOLUNTARY EXPOSURES
- Large athletic training mats
- Latex gloves, antiseptic wipes, and bandages
- Biohazard sharps container and provide proper disposal
