Product Usage Instructions
Power Up :
- Insert 2-AA batteries into your Outdoor Sensor.
- Insert the 5-volt power cord into the outlet, then into your Weather Station. Optionally, insert 3-AAA batteries for backup.
- Place the Outdoor Sensor in a shaded outdoor location to protect it from direct sunlight.
Atomic Time :
- Hold the TIME SET button until the display changes to enter the Settings Menu.
- Use the ARROW buttons to adjust values.
- Press the TIME SET button to confirm and move to the next item.
Adjustable Backlight:
The Weather Station features an adjustable backlight for better visibility
in different lighting conditions.
Temperature Alerts :
- Hold the ALERTS button to enter the Alert Settings.
- Use the ARROW buttons to adjust values.
- Press the ALERTS button to confirm and exit.
Sensor Search :
If outdoor readings show dashes, perform a full restart by bringing the sensor
inside, removing batteries and power cords, pressing any display button
multiple times, waiting, and then reinstalling batteries and power.
Care & Maintenance:
- Ensure proper battery replacement following instructions to avoid personal injury.
- Dispose of batteries responsibly – check local recycling centers or regulations for proper disposal methods.

Power Up
- Insert 2-AA batteries into your Outdoor Sensor.
- Insert the 5 volt power cord into the outlet, then into your Weather Station. Optional: Insert 3-AAA batteries for backup.
- Once the Outdoor Sensor is reading to your station, place it outside in a shaded location to protect from the sun’s heat.

Atomic Time
- Your station will automatically search for the Atomic Time Signal at UTC 7:00, 8:00, 9:00, 10:00, and 11:00.
- Press the TIME SET button to manually start or stop a search for the WWVB Atomic Time Signal.
- The Tower Icon will flash while searching, and remain solid on screen when the WWVB Signal is received.

Settings Menu
- Hold the TIME SET button until the display changes to enter the Settings Menu.
- Press and release the ARROW buttons to adjust values.
- Press the TIME SET button to confirm and move to next item.

Time Zones
- AST = Atlantic
- EST = Eastern
- CST = Central
- MST = Mountain
- PST = Pacific
- AKT = Alaska
- HAT = Hawaii
WWVB OFF: When WWVB OFF is selected, you will move directly to 12/24 Hour
setting.
Weekday: The Weekday will set automatically when your Year, Month and Date are
set.
Adjustable Backlight
Press and release the SNOOZE/LIGHT HI/LOW/OFF button to adjust the backlight
brightness: High • Low •
Forecast Icons
- The Forecast Icons are determined by the station’s barometric pressure reading. Please allow 7-10 days for barometric calibration.
- This is your pressure at your stations’ location and may vary slightly from your local reporting station.
- Six forecast icons use changing atmospheric pressure to predict weather conditions for the next 12-hours with 70-75% accuracy.
- When Outdoor temperature is below 32˚F and the forecast is rain or
- T- storm, the station will display Snow.
- Note : at elevations above 6, 200 feet the forecast icons may not change.
Forecast Tendancy Arrows
The Forecast Tendency Arrows tell you at a glance if the pressure is rising,
falling or steady. Rising pressure indicates the weather will improve. Falling
pressure indicates the weather will worsen.
Temperature Alerts
- Hold the ALERTS button until the display changes to enter the Alert Settings.
- Press and release the ARROW buttons to adjust values.
- Press the ALERTS button to confirm and exit.
- When an alert value is reached, the station will beep 5 times every minute, until the value is out of the alert range.
- Press any button to stop the alert from sounding.
- The flashing Alert Icon will indicate if it is a LO or HI alert.
Arm/Disarm Alerts
Press the ALERTS button to toggle between alerts: Outdoor HI / Outdoor LOW /
Indoor HI / Indoor LOW
- Press and release the UP ARROW button to arm the alert.
- Alert Icon will show.
- Press and release the DOWN ARROW button to disarm the alert.
MIN/MAX Records
The station automatically resets minimum and maximum values daily at midnight
(12:00 AM).
- Press and release the DOWN ARROW button to view minimum values.
- Hold the DOWN ARROW button to reset minimum values.
- Press and release the UP ARROW button to view maximum values.
- Hold the UP ARROW button to reset maximum values.
Heat Index & Dew Point
- Press and release the HEAT/DEW button once to view Heat Index.
- Press and release the HEAT/DEW button again to view Dew Point.
Trend Arrows
- The UP and DOWN arrows indicate changes in temperature and humidity over the past 3 hours. The STEADY arrow indicates no change in the past 3 hours.
- The arrows will update every 30 minutes and compare data from exactly 3 hours prior.
- Temperature: Arrow will change with every 2 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Humidity: Arrow will change with every 3% RH
Low Battery Indicator
- Low Battery by the Indoor Temperature, replace batteries in the station.
- Low Battery by the Outdoor Temperature, replace sensor batteries
Sensor Search
- If you are seeing dashes in place of outdoor temperature, first check your sensor batteries. Hold the HEAT/DEW button for to search for the sensor.
- The Reception Icon will flash while searching and be solid when sensor signal is received.
If your outdoor readings continue to show dashes, complete a full restart:
- Bring your sensor inside next to your station.
- Remove the batteries and power cord from the station and sensor.
- Press any button on the display at least 20 times, and wait 15 minutes with the
- After 15 minutes, install new batteries into your sensor, and then power back up the station with the power cord and batteries.
- Wait another 15 minutes to establish a strong connection. Place the sensor outside in a shaded location.
Sensor Shield (not included)
- The Sensor Weather Shield is designed to protect your outdoor sensor from rain and snow.
- This shield will offer limited protection from the sun’s heat.

Care & Maintenance
Battery Replacement Instructions
- When batteries of different brand or type are used together, or new and old batteries are used together, some batteries may be over-discharged due to a difference of voltage or capacity. This can result in venting, leakage, and rupture and may cause personal injury.
- Do not mix Alkaline, Lithium, Standard, or Rechargeable batteries.
- Always purchase the correct size and grade of battery most suitable for the intended use.
- Always replace the whole set of batteries at one time, taking care not to mix old and new ones, or batteries of different types.
- Clean the battery contacts and also those of the device prior to battery installation.
- Ensure the batteries are installed correctly with regard to polarity (+ and -).
- Remove batteries from product during periods of non-use. Battery leakage can cause corrosion and damage to this product.
- Remove used batteries promptly.
- For recycling and disposal of batteries, and to protect the environment, please check the internet or your local phone directory for local recycling centers and/or follow local government regulations.
