WARNING! It is the user’s responsibility to check the following:- Check all electrical equipment and appliances to ensure that they are safe before use. Inspect power supply leads, plugs, and all electrical connections for wear and damage. Sealey recommends that an RCD (Residual Current Device) is used with all electrical products. Electrical safety information. The following information must be read and understood:
- Ensure that the insulation on all cables and on the appliance is safe before connecting it to the power supply.
- Regularly inspect power supply cables and plugs for wear or damage and check all connections to ensure that they are secure. Important: Ensure that the voltage rating on the appliance suits the power supply to be used and that the plug is fitted with the correct fuse.
- DO NOT pull or carry the appliance by the power cable.
- DO NOT pull the plug from the socket by the cable.
- DO NOT use worn or damaged cables, plugs, or connectors. Ensure that any faulty item is repaired or replaced immediately by a qualified electrician.
If the cable or plug is damaged during use, switch off the electricity supply and remove it from use.
Ensure that repairs are carried out by a qualified electrician.
If an extension reel is used it should be as short as possible and fully unwound before connection. A reel with an RCD fitted is preferred since any appliance plugged into it will be protected. The cable core section is important and should be at least 1.5mm², but to be sure that the capacity of the reel is suitable for this product and for others that may be used in the other output sockets, we recommend the use of 2.5mm² section cable.

GENERAL SAFETY
- WARNING! Disconnect the heater from the mains power, before servicing or performing any maintenance. Servicing or maintenance must only be carried out by an authorized service agent.
- Check that the heater is in sound condition and good working order. Take immediate action to repair or replace damaged parts.
- WARNING! DO NOT use the heater near flammable material, liquids, solids, gases compressed gas cylinders, etc.
- Use this heater on a horizontal and stable surface, or fix it to a wall as applicable.
- DO NOT allow children to touch or to operate the heater DO NOT obstruct the air inlet or outlet on the heater.
- DO NOT cover the heater.
- DO NOT operate the heater when you are tired or under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or intoxicating medication.
- DO NOT touch the heater casing or grill when first switched off as these are hot and will take time to cool.
- DO NOT use the heater for anything other than its intended purpose. It is not suitable for drying clothes or laundry.
- DO NOT place the heater close to a bath, wash basin, shower, swimming pool, or any other water-filled area or wet surface.
- DO NOT get the heater wet or use it in areas of high condensation.
- DO NOT place the heater up against any surface such as a wall, door furniture, etc.
- DO NOT place the heater immediately below any electrical outlet.
- DO NOT allow the power lead to lie in front of the heater outlet.
- DO NOT attempt to repair a damaged heater, contact an authorized service agent.
- DO NOT stand on the heater.
- DO NOT connect the fan heater to a timer device or other equipment that can automatically switch the heater on or off.
- Ensure that the heater is correctly turned off when not in use and stored in a safe, dry area, out of reach of children.
NOTE: Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch
on/off the appliance provided that it has been placed or installed in its
intended normal operating position and they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand
the hazards involved. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall
not plug in, regulate, and clean the appliance or perform user maintenance.
Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously
supervised.
INTRODUCTION
Tough composite case with integral carry handle. Can be seated in a vertical or horizontal position. 2-Position heat settings control two 1000W heating elements. Full range ambient room thermostat maintains the temperature at preset level. The fan doubles as a cool air blower for use in the summer. Supplied with a 3-pin plug.

OPERATION
- Position the heater where required, either horizontally or vertically on a level surface ensuring that the air intake and outlet are MAX not obstructed in any way.
- Plug the heater into the mains supply.
- Set the thermostat knob to the halfway position as shown in fig.1 THERMOSTATIC fig.1. TEMPERATURE CONTROL
- The fan heater will switch on when the selector switch is set to one of the two power settings (1000W or 2000W).
- Once the room reaches the set temperature the heater will switch on and off automatically to maintain that temperature. Adjust the position of the thermostat knob to obtain a comfortable room temperature.
- If the fan fails to operate when a power setting is selected the thermostatic temperature control may be set too low. Turn the knob slowly towards max until the fan starts.
- For a cooling effect turn the selector switch to the fan-only setting.
MAINTENANCE

WARNING! Before attempting any maintenance ensure the unit is unplugged from the mains power supply and that it is cool. Clean the heater with a soft dry cloth. DO NOT use abrasives or solvents.

Periodically check the heater grille to ensure it is not blocked.
NOTE : This heater is fitted with a safety device that will cut the power should it overheat. If this happens, you should disconnect the heater from the mains supply for a minimum of 3 minutes, allowing the heater to cool. Ensure the heater is not covered or anything is obstructing the vents. -
Plug the heater back into the electrical socket and switch the heater back on.

No other maintenance is necessary. If you experience a problem with your heater or if the power lead or plug is damaged contact your local authorized service agent for repair. DO NOT dismantle or tamper with the heater as this may be dangerous and will invalidate your warranty.
WEEE REGULATIONS
Dispose of this product at the end of its working life in compliance with the
EU Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). When the
product is no longer required, it must be disposed of in an environmentally
protective way. Contact your local solid waste authority for recycling
information.
ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools,
accessories, and packaging should be sorted, taken to a recycling center, and
disposed of in a manner that is compatible with the environment. When the
product becomes completely unserviceable and requires disposal, drain any
fluids (if applicable) into approved containers and dispose of the product and
fluids according to local regulations.
