  • Use personal protective equipment. Protective equipment such as dust masks, non-skid safety shoes, hard hats, or hearing protection used for appropriate conditions will reduce personal injuries.
  • Always wear eye protection. The operation of a blower can result in foreign objects being blown into the eyes, which can result in eye damage. Users and bystanders must wear safety goggles or glasses with side shields when the blower is in operation.
  • Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Keep your hair and clothing away from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewelry, or long hair can be caught in moving parts.
