LP Aventure 2024 Plus Bumper Guard

• Tools Required for Installation: Ratchet, 19mm socket, 25mm socket, 14mm socket, 12mm socket, Push pin removal tool, 14mm wrench, 22mm wrench, Drill, 1 1/4 hole saw, Small flat screwdriver

Product Usage Instructions

Remove Push Pins

Remove the 4 push pins at each corner of the bumper using a push pin removal tool.

Prepare Bumper

• Cut back the plastic to provide access for the bumper guard support rods. If already cut during R&D process, skip this step.

Drill Hole

• Using a hole saw, drill a hole in the plastic right behind the bumper.

Install Bumper Guard

• Put back the push pins.
• Remove the tow hook covers.
• Place the included spacer in front of the two hook threads.
• Angle the support rod outward and insert it from the bottom aligning it in front of the tow hook hole.
• Thread the included tow hook extension into the tow hook receiver but do not fully tighten yet.
• Thread the nut on top of the bumper guard support rod to about 7/8 from the top.
• Lift the bumper guard into place with assistance.
• Thread the nut onto the end of the support rod.
• Insert the bolt into the lower mounting location and thread the nut on without fully tightening.
• Ensure the bumper guard is centered and all gaps are equal.
• Fully tighten all hardware.
• Put back the tow hook covers.

NECESSARY TOOLS

• Ratchet,
• 19mm socket
• 1″/25mm socket
• 14mm socket
• 12mm socket
• Push pin removal tool
• 14mm wrench
• 22mm wrench
• Drill
• 1″” 1/4 hole saw
• Small flat screwdriver

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION

• REMOVE THE 4 PUSH PINS AT EACH CORNER OF THE BUMPER
• USING A KNIFE, CUT BACK THE PLASTIC TO PROVIDE ACCESS FOR THE BUMPER GUARD SUPPORT RODS OURS WAS ALREADY CUT DURING THE R&D PROCESS
• USING A HOLE SAW, DRILL A HOLE IN THE PLASTIC THA T IS RIGHT BEHIND THE BUMPER
• PUT BACK THE PUSH PINS
• REMOVE THE TOW HOOK COVERS
• PLACE THE INCLUDED SPACER IN FRONT OF THE TOW HOOK THREADS
• WITH THE SUPPORT ROD ANGLED OUTWARD, INSERT IT FROM THE BOTTOM AND ALIGN IT IN FRONT OF THE TOW HOOK HOLE
• THREAD THE INCLUDED TOW HOOD EXTENSION INTO THE TWO-HOOK RECEIVER
• THREAD THE NUT ON TOP OF THE BUMPER GUARD SUPPORT  ROD TO ABOUT 7/8″ FROM THE TOP
• LIFT THE BUMPER GUARD INTO PLACE. WE RECOMMEND EITHER THE HELP OF A FRIEND OR SOMETHING TO SUPPORT IT
• THREAD NUT ONTO THE END OF THE SUPPORT ROD
• INSERT THE BOLT INTO THE LOWER MOUNTING LOCATION
• AND THREAD THE NUT ON
• DO NOT FULLY TIGHTEN YET
• MAKE SURE THE BUMPER GUARD IS CENTERED AND THAT ALL THE GAPS ARE EQUAL.
• YOU CAN NOW FULLY TIGHTEN ALL THE HARDWARE
• PUT BACK THE TOW HOOK COVERS
