Convenient mounting options
Since there is no disc player, the mounting depth for most vehicles shouldn’t be a significant concern. The chassis of this receiver fits in most double-DIN dash openings. To make room for other car controls and vents in your vehicle, you can change the vertical mounting height of the chassis and select from two depth positions after mounting it in your dash hole. You can also manually tilt the display forward and backward after the screen has been mounted to the chassis to account for angled dashes and glare.
Design of a Floating Display
Configuration in Two Pieces
The Kenwood DMX1037S digital multimedia receiver has a floating two-piece display setup with a Double-DIN (4″) source unit and an external 10.1″ capacitive touchscreen monitor. The DMX1037S can be fitted in a typical Double-DIN (4″) dash aperture by separating the sizable touchscreen monitor from the chassis. The 10.1″ touchscreen display is mounted to the front of the Double-DIN (4″) source unit using the integrated connector and hardware that are both included (dash kit, wiring harness, interface module, adapters are required and sold separately).
Touchscreen Monitor that Floats
You might need to modify the touchscreen monitor’s mounting position in order to prevent interference with driving activities, depending on where the factory radio and other factory electronics are located in your car. To ensure the optimum fit and use on the dash of your car, the floating touchscreen monitor enables depth, height, and tilt adjustments. The touchscreen monitor has dimensions of 10.3125″ (w) x 7.125″ (h) x 3.125″ (d), including the mounting bracket and integrated connector.

To enable a smarter driving experience, receivers featuring 4 camera inputs allow for the utmost in convenience, flexibility, and safety. With 4 camera inputs, you can connect a rear camera, side (blind spot) cameras, and a KENWOOD dashboard camera (DRV-N520 sold separately). Alternatively, 4 camera inputs can support several other configurations, including the connection of 2 side cameras, a front HD camera, and a rear HD camera (CMOS-740HD sold separately). Camera switching is available using on screen controls, or automatically for side cameras when an optional iDatalink Maestro RR is connected (supported vehicles only).

A DRV-N520 tiny windshield mount camera may record every occurrence in front of you while you’re driving and offers Full HD video recording. High Dynamic Range (HDR) technology enables faultless recording in all lighting circumstances, even extremely bright or very dark ones. A built-in gyro sensor ensures that any accidents are recorded and stored separately on the 8GB SD card so they can be viewed later. To prevent frontal collisions and to remind you if traffic has moved in front of you, additional safety and warning features can be turned on.
Control that’s secure, intelligent, and extensive with Apple CarPlay
A safer method of using your iPhone in the car is through Apple CarPlay. To use Apple Maps directions, make phone calls, check your voicemail, send and receive texts, and listen to music from Apple Music or your preferred third- party streaming services like Pandora and Spotify while driving, just talk to Siri or touch the receiver’s display. Third-party navigation apps like Google Maps and Waze are supported with the most recent iOS version (iOS 12.0 and higher).
Compatible with iDatalink Maestro
The Kenwood receiver can seamlessly integrate with factory infotainment features like satellite radio, a USB media player, Bluetooth hands-free, and music streaming when an Automotive Data Solutions iDatalink Maestro is connected (available separately). Cameras and driver assistance systems from the factory have been kept and continue to function as intended. Supported vehicles also add a parking sensor display and dynamic parking guide lines to the screen of the rear camera. It is also possible to display vehicle data such as HVAC, performance data, and TPMS. When paired with a compatible K40 or ESCORT radar detector system, radar detector information can also be seen on the screen (sold separately). Each vehicle will have different retained factory features and add-on features.

I cannot say with certainty. Normally in the United States, ours end in.5, but technically the radio will pick up any nearby frequencies, so I think it will work.

If you utilise an Idatalink Maestro RR or Maestro RR2, it will. It can be done, but additional parts may be required depending on whether your manufacturer screen is 4″ or 8″ in size. The climate will still be controlled by the radio and via the steering wheel.

It has only recently been released, thus it will take some time until reviews are written. I hired a pro to install it because I live abroad. But compared to us, professional installation services are much more affordable where I live. I still suggest having a professional install the device rather than assuming the risk with a pricey item.
