Wind Modes

Additional Functions

  1. TIMER: Press TIMER button to start and stop the timer, cycle through settings from 1 hour to 12 hours in 1-hour increments. The LED display will indicate the selected time.
  2. OSC: Press OSC once to start or stop the oscillating movement of the fan. The LED display will indicate when oscillation is active.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

ASSEMBLY

  1. Turn the fan upside down (control panel touching the floor) .
  2. Position power cord in the center channel of the rear base plate before offering up the front base plate , attach by sliding downwards and secure with the locking screws.
  3. Secure the fan base to the fan body with the locking screws (3 screws provided).
  4. Place the power cord through the cord grip, and make sure the power cord is fixed securely by using the cord grip.( 2 screws and 1 cord grip provided)

BEFORE FIRST USE
Before first use remove any stickers or similar from the appliance. Dispose of any plastic bags as they pose a risk to young children of suffocation.

OPERATION

  1. Pullout insulation before using the remote control.
  2. To change the batteries, release the enclosure of battery. Insert the batteries according to the diagram shown on the back of the remote control. Push the enclosure of battery .
  3. Ensure batteries are inserted in the correct direction. When replacing, ensure battery are changed simultaneously. 3V lithium battery is required

THE OPERATION OF CONTROL PANEL

Set the fan on a dry level surface. Plug the cord into a suitable 220-240V AC outlet. The led display of “TEMP” will start to glow.

  1. POWER:
    Turn the fan on by pressing the “POWER” button on the remote control or on the con-trol panel. The appropriate LED display on the front of the fan will illuminate. Turn the fan Off by pressing the “POWER” button again.

  2. SPEED:
    The speed is adjusted by repeatedly pressing the “SPEED” button on the remote con-trol or on the control panel. The LED display on the front of the fan will light up. There are 3 speeds, Low, Middle, High.

  3. MODE:
    Select the wind mode by pressing this button, Normal, Nature, Sleep.
    When the fan is turned on, it starts in Normal mode.
    The appropriate LED display on the front of the fan will light up.

    • = Normal wind mode
      Normal: The fan will operate at a set speed, LOW, MIDDLE, and HIGH

    • = Nature wind mode
      Nature: Simulates the flow of a natural breeze by changing speed and pausing.

    • = Sleep wind mode
      Sleep: Operates in NATURE mode with increasing length of pause over time.

  4. TIMER:
    Press “TIMER” button to start and stop the timer, cycle through the timer (from 1 hour to 12 hours, in 1 hour increments) settings.
    The appropriate LED display on the front of the fan will light up.

  5. OSC
    Press “OSC ” once to start the oscillating movement of the fan. Press this button again to stop the oscillating movement of the fan.
    The appropriate LED display on the front of the fan will illuminate when it is oscillating.

WARNING:

  • Ensure that all safety guards are correctly fitted before use.
  • Ensure that all fan blades are securely fitted before use.
  • Ensure that the fan is switched OFF from the mains supply before removing the guard. Avoid contact with moving parts. Do not insert objects or body parts into the safety grill when the fan is operating.
  • Do not cover the safety grill or place near curtains.
  • Do not move when in operation.

CARE AND CLEANING

To safely take care of your fan, please remember to follow these instructions below:

  1. Always remove the plug from the socket-outlet, and allow the fan to stop completely before cleaning the fan.
  2. Do not allow water to drip on, or enter into the fan housing.
  3. Always use a soft wet cloth to clean the body, and vacuum cleaner to clean the dust from the blades.
  4. Do not use any of the following agents as a cleaner: Gasoline, Thinners, or Benzene.
  5. In case of malfunction or doubt, do not try to repair the fan yourself, it may result in a fire hazard or electric shock.
  6. Clean the fan guard, housing and base with a soft damp cloth.
  7. Do not attempt to remove the fan blades. Please use caution around the motor housing area.
  8. Do not allow the motor, or other electrical components to be exposed to water.
  9. When storing your fan in the off-season, it is important to keep it in a safe dry location. It is important to protect the fan head from any dust.
