Attaching the pleated blind package
- Insert the pleated blind package into the upper and lower slide rain and hinge it in the numbered order as shown in the illustration.
- Ensure that the lower cords are not crossed and are inside the C-shaped guide rail.
- If the cords are not brought to the intended position, operation is more difficult and the cords may be pushed out of the rail. Over a longer period of time, this can damage the pleating.
Installation ISPL18 Pleated insect screen 18 mm
- The unit is set to the ordered width in the factory so that no adjustments need to be made to the cords at the site.
Tensioning of the cords
- Remove the magnetic profile, which is placed on the side of the limit stop, laterally from the wall profile.
- Release the threaded pins provided at the cold holders, and shift the holders until the cords are tensioned. Clamp the threaded pins.
- Now press the magnetic profile into the wall profile again.
- Tension the individual cords on the opposite side via the slotted holes in the screen-side wall profile
- The cord tension must be selected in such a way, that the cords do not sag and that the pleated insect screen is still running smoothly.
- Cords that are too tight will damage the unit as they cut into the plastic deflectors.
Commissioning/functional check
- Please check the unit for proper functioning before handing it over.
- Check all settings.
- Check all screwed connections for tightness.
- Clean the elements (see maintenance instructions).
- Give these instructions to the user.
- Introduce the user by informing him about the safety instructions and instructions for use of the unit.
- Have the correct design of the unit, the installation and the introduction with the safety instructions confirmed in writing (see handing over report).
