Product Overview
The wireless home security camera by TCL, model CAM B1, is a versatile device
designed for easy installation and monitoring of your surroundings. The camera
features various components including a lens, microphone, motion sensor,
light, speaker, charging port, TF card slot, power ON/OFF button, reset
button, solar energy panel, and battery cover.
Setting Up the System:
- Ensure the battery is fully charged before use.
- Download the “arpha” app from the App Store or Google Play store.
- Register an account on the app.
- Connect your smartphone to the wireless router (2.4GHz channel for dual-band routers).
- Launch the TCL app, add the device, select Camera & Lock, and follow the on-screen instructions.
- Connect the camera to your Wi-Fi network and wait for the indicator light to turn steady green.
Mounting the Camera:
The camera should be mounted 7-10 ft above the ground for optimal motion
sensor performance. Avoid direct sunlight exposure for accurate detection.
Charging the Camera:
Use a 5V USB charger to charge the TCL camera. It is recommended to charge it
in a location within 7-10 ft above the ground to maximize motion sensor
performance.

Disassembling and assembling the battery
- Rotate the knob 90 degrees in the direction of the arrow.
- Open the battery cover as this direction below
- Insert the battery into the camera and close the battery cover

SETTING UP THE SYSTEM
Download the App and Set up the System

Please fully charge the battery before using it for the first time.

Download the arpha app from the App Store ( iOS devices ) or Google Play store (Android devices).

Register an account if this is the first using the App.

Make sure that your smartphone is connected to your wireless router ( It has to be on the 2.4GHz channel if you have a dual-band router ) Note : The IOT service is provided by the third-party company of Tuya.

Launch the TCL app, click “Add Device” , then select “ Camera & Lock”, and follow the screenshot below.

Make sure the Red indicator on the device is blinking, then press “Next Step”. (If the operation failed, press the reset button for over 5 seconds)

Enter your“Wi-Fi network and password” click,“Next”.

When the indicator light on the device turns from ashing red light to steady green light, the network configuration is complete.
MOUNTING THE CAMERA
Mount the camera
- Firmly secure the base onto the wall using screws(depends onactual wall mount) supplied in the package. “Keep the installation angle of solar panels about 30~45°with the horizontal plane as shown in the picture below. Take care to install the solar panel in camera so that the sun is not blocked by any items such as eaves,trees branches,etc.
- It is suggested to install arphacam 7-10 ft (2-3 m) above the ground. This height maximizes the detection range of the motion sensor ofarphacam. Avoid placing arphacam under direct sunlight.
