Product Usage Instructions
Installation
This valve is specifically designed for use in CO2(R744) systems. Ensure
that the design pressure meets the requirements outlined in ANSI/ASHRAE 15 for
the refrigerant used. Only authorized personnel should handle the installation
to prevent the build-up of excessive pressure in the system.
Possible Orientations:
The valve can be mounted vertically, horizontally, or inclined.\ Ensure
proper orientation based on system requirements.
Risk Orientations
For risk orientations with a soft spring (Danfoss 20-8041), be cautious of
internal leak risks. Follow proper installation guidelines to mitigate these
risks.
Brazing
When brazing, ensure a minimum of 5% Ag brazing alloy is used to maintain
the integrity of the valve connection.
USING INSTRUCTION
- Refrigerants: R744 (CO˜)
- Temperature range (TS): -40 °C – 150 °C / -40 °F – 302 °F
- Max. working pressure (PS/MWP): 140 bar / 2031 psig
Warning:
This valve is UL certified for use in CO2(R744) systems only. The design
pressure shall not be less than the value outlined in section 9.2 of ANSI/
ASHRAE 15 for the refrigerant used in the system.
Only authorized persons are allowed to install this valve, as closing can
cause build-up of excessive pressure in the system.
