How to Use
Made in USA
This Stay N Place® Airway Positioner has two head/neck cradles and a wedge-
shaped pillow to lift the chest area. The pillows can be repositioned to
accommodate a range of patients. A soft and colorful head strap provides
additional stability if needed.
To Use:
- The Stay N Place Airway Positioner (SP-AP VIN) can be used with or without the removable Head Strap. If the Head Strap is to be used, be sure it is in position for easy adjustment once the patient has settled in.
- As the patient lies down, position the pillows so that the taller pillow is under the nape of the neck. If the device is positioned properly, the head should naturally tilt back into the shorter pillow, with chin up.
- Engage the hook and loop of the head strap for a more secure fit.
To Clean:
After each use, clean the entire surface with mild soap or detergent to remove any contaminants. Apply disinfectant to the surface with either a spray or wipes, following the manufacturer’s directions, then wipe dry. Do not allow disinfecting agent to remain on the vinyl, as this may degrade the material and reduce the life of the product. Avoid heat.
