Specialized Care RAS-SM Robot Arm Stabilizers
Use and Cleaning Instructions
Made in USA
The Robot Arm™ Stabilizers control kicking and grabbing movements, which may
pose a danger to both patient and practitioner.
To Use: Place the Robot Arm™ Stabilizer behind the elbow or knee, with the green side against the patient’s limb, and the tapered end of the purple section facing down. Wrap into a tube around the joint, pressing the hook against the loop side of the Velcro® to form a tube and hold it in place. The Velcro® should overlap by 3”, or more. To release, pull on the soft foam purple section.
To Clean: Apply disinfecting spray or wipes following the manufacturer’s directions, then wipe dry. Do not allow disinfecting agent to remain on the plastic or foam, as this may degrade the surface and reduce the life of the product.
Important: It is the clinician’s responsibility to assure the appropriateness of any medical device for a given patient. Be sure to understand all applicable regulations regarding the use of protective stabilization. Never leave patient unattended.
Velcro® is a registered trademark of Velcro BVBA.
