Product Setup
Step 1: Connecting the Dock
- Ensure that your USB-C port supports Alt Mode and Power Delivery. Connect the USB-C Mobile Dock to your laptop using the provided USB-C cable.
Step 2: Connecting Peripherals
- Insert SD/Micro SD cards into the respective slots (SD 3.0, UHS-I).
- Connect up to three USB-A 3.2 Gen1 devices (5Gbps, up to 5V/0.9A each).
- Connect one USB-C 3.2 Gen1 device (5Gbps, up to 5V/0.9A).
- Connect headphones to the audio jack.
Step 3: Connecting Displays
- HDMI 2.0 (Alt Mode) for 4K @ 60Hz
- HDMI 1.4 for 4K @ 30Hz
- VGA for 1080p @ 60Hz
Ensure your laptop supports SiliconMotion for display output. Connect the dock to your laptop and use the appropriate cables for your monitors.
Step 4: Network Connection
- Connect to a network using the Ethernet port (10/100/1000Mbps).
Step 5: Power Delivery
- Use a USB-C power adapter with a minimum of 85W PD to power your laptop through the dock. Recommended use with a 100W USB-C power adapter.

- Connect the dock to your laptop. The dock will activate the INSTANTVIEW flash drive.
- Open the ‘INSTANTVIEW’ folder.
- For Windows: Click ‘Windows InstantView’ to install the driver.
- For macOS: Click ‘macOS InstantView.app’ to install the driver.
- Install the Silicon Motion driver to enable video display.
- Find the InstaView User Manual in the flash drive folder for further details.
