Product Setup

Step 1: Connecting the Dock

  • Ensure that your USB-C port supports Alt Mode and Power Delivery. Connect the USB-C Mobile Dock to your laptop using the provided USB-C cable.

Step 2: Connecting Peripherals

  • Insert SD/Micro SD cards into the respective slots (SD 3.0, UHS-I).
  • Connect up to three USB-A 3.2 Gen1 devices (5Gbps, up to 5V/0.9A each).
  • Connect one USB-C 3.2 Gen1 device (5Gbps, up to 5V/0.9A).
  • Connect headphones to the audio jack.

Step 3: Connecting Displays

  • HDMI 2.0 (Alt Mode) for 4K @ 60Hz
  • HDMI 1.4 for 4K @ 30Hz
  • VGA for 1080p @ 60Hz

Ensure your laptop supports SiliconMotion for display output. Connect the dock to your laptop and use the appropriate cables for your monitors.

Step 4: Network Connection

  • Connect to a network using the Ethernet port (10/100/1000Mbps).

Step 5: Power Delivery

  • Use a USB-C power adapter with a minimum of 85W PD to power your laptop through the dock. Recommended use with a 100W USB-C power adapter.

Silicon Motion Driver Installation Guide

  1. Connect the dock to your laptop. The dock will activate the INSTANTVIEW flash drive.
  2. Open the ‘INSTANTVIEW’ folder.
  3. For Windows: Click ‘Windows InstantView’ to install the driver.
  4. For macOS: Click ‘macOS InstantView.app’ to install the driver.
  5. Install the Silicon Motion driver to enable video display.
  6. Find the InstaView User Manual in the flash drive folder for further details.
