To avoid unnecessary expenses and participate in the preservation of our environment, here is how to maintain and prolong the life of your Lithium-Ion battery.
-
– When using your battery:
° Before first use, charge your battery between 80 and 100%
° Avoid a complete and too fast discharge (for example: from 100% to 0% in 15 minutes)
° If you use a machine that consumes a lot of energy, use several batteries, without emptying them completely
° Do not use your machine in a humid or even rainy environment -
– When your battery is charging:
° Charge your battery at a temperature between +15° and +25° C
° Never charge your battery at a temperature below 0° C
° Do not leave your battery on its charger for more than 4 consecutive hours
° Do not charge your battery in direct sunlight in summer or on a heating radiator
° Do not charge your battery in a very humid or even rainy environment -
– When you are not using your battery (storage period):
° Check the battery charge level every 3 to 4 months and keep it charged at more than 50%
° Do not leave the battery connected to a machine or a charger (even if the latter is not plugged in) to avoid leakage currents (loss of electrical current to earth or conductive parts)
° The battery must be stored in a dry and ventilated place where the temperature must be between +10° and +50° C
° Do not store your battery in direct sunlight in summer or on a heating radiator
° Do not store your battery in a very humid or even rainy environment
To collect, process and recycle your batteries:
FARGROUP is a member of SCRELEC*, to which the marketing of batteries and
accumulators is declared. >>> For more information:

SPECIFIC SAFETY RULES
Special safety instructions for wireless devices:
Protect the battery packs against moisture!
Never expose the battery packs to flames!
Never use defective or distorted battery packs!
Never open the battery packs!
Never touch or short-circuit the contact points of the battery!
Defective Li-Ion batteries may leak leaking flammable and slightly acidic
liquid!
In case of contact of the battery liquid with the skin, immediately rinse with
plenty of water. If the battery fluid comes into direct contact with your
eyes, rinse them with clean water and consult a doctor immediately!
Transport of Li-Ion battery packs:
The shipment of Li-Ion battery packs is subject to the legislation relating to
the transport of dangerous goods (UN 3480 and UN 3481). When sending Li-Ion
battery packs, please refer to the applicable regulations. If so, please
contact your carrier.
Only send the battery packs when there is no fault in the case and no liquid
escapes. When sending, please remove the battery pack from the unit. Protect
the contact points against short circuits (eg by insulating them with adhesive
tape).
Always remove the battery from the appliance before making any modifications
to it (eg maintenance work, tool change, etc.) and before transporting or
storing it.
Use of battery operated tools and precautions for use at. Only charge with the
charger specified by the manufacturer. A charger that is suitable for one type
of battery pack may create a fire hazard when used with another type of
battery pack.
b. Only use power tools with specifically designated battery packs. Use of any
other battery pack may create a risk of injury and fire.
vs. When a battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects,
such as paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws, or other small objects that
may result in a connection. from one terminal to another. Shorting the
terminals of a battery between them can cause burns or fire.
d. In bad conditions, liquid can be ejected from the battery; avoid contact.
In case of accidental contact, clean with water. If the liquid comes in
contact with the eyes, seek further medical help. Liquid ejected from the
batteries can cause irritation or burns.
e. Do not use a battery pack or battery operated tool that has been damaged or
modified. Damaged or modified batteries may exhibit unpredictable behavior
resulting in fire, explosion or risk of injury.
f. Do not expose a battery pack or battery operated tool to fire or excessive
heat. Exposure to fire or temperatures above 130 ° C may cause an explosion.
NOTE: The temperature «130 ° C» can be replaced by the temperature «265 °
F».
boy Wut. Follow all charging instructions and do not charge the battery pack
or battery operated tool out of the temperature range specified in the
instructions. Improper charging or temperatures outside the specified
temperature range can damage the battery and increase the risk of fire.
Interview
at. Have the power tool serviced by a qualified service person using only
identical replacement parts. This ensures the safety of the power tool.
