SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
If the supply cord is damaged it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
Proceed according to the conservation and cleaning section of this manual for cleaning.
Care should be taken when using the appliance due to the emission of steam.
Unplug the appliance during filling and cleaning.
This device is designed for use at a maximum altitude up to 2000m above sea level.
The fabric steamer must not be left unattended while it is connected to the supply mains.
The fabric steamer is not to be used if it has been dropped, if there are visible signs of damage or if it is leaking.
Keep the fabric steamer and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years of age when it is energized or cooling down.
CAUTION: Hot surfaces. Surfaces are liable to get hot during use.

IMPORTANT WARNINGS

This appliance is designed for home use and should never be used for commercial or industrial use under any circumstances. Any incorrect use or improper handling of the product shall render the warranty null and void.
Prior to plugging in the product, check that your mains voltage is the same as the one indicated on the product label. Do not use, connect or disconnect the device to the mains with your hands or feet wet. Do not use any accessories other than those supplied.
The mains connection cable must not be tangled or wrapped around the product during use. Do not pull on the connection cord in order to unplug it or use it as a handle.
Do not direct steam at people and animals.
Do not place the appliance under the tap to fill the water tank, or immerse it in water or other liquids. Unplug the product immediately from the mains in the event of any breakdown or damage and contact an official technical support service. In order to prevent any risk of danger, do not open the device. Only qualified technical personnel from the brand´s official technical support service may carry out repairs or procedures on the device. Only an official technical support service centre may carry out repairs on this product.

BEFORE THE FIRST USE

In the first use they can break off odors or fumes that sent quickly. Do not spray for the first time on clothes and there may be traces of dirt on the steam head.

FILLING WITH WATER

  1. Remove the mains plug from the wall socket before filling or emptying the garment
  2. Press the water tank release button (8)
  3. Pull out the water tank (7)
  4. Open the silicone water inlet cap (9)
  5. Fill the tank (7) with water to the maximum level marked on the container: MAX. Before installing the water tank (7) to the device, make sure that the silicone cap (9) is properly closed.

Fill the water tank when necessary.
One filling to the maximum gives approximately 13-18 minutes of continuous use.
The device is intended for use with demiralized or distilled water.
Do not use tap water, water from clothes dryers, scented or softened water, rainwater, filtered water, bottled water, boiled water, water from a freezer, battery or air conditioner, as this may damage the device.
Water from such sources contains organic waste and minerals, which, when heated, reach a high concentration and cause irregular steam output, brown staining, leaks or premature wear of the device.
If the water in the water tank (7) runs out while ironing, the steamer will turn off after 45 seconds and the heating light (2) will start flashing. After 8 minutes of non-use, it will turn off completely.

HOW TO USE

Before using, please check fabric´s label for recommendations.
We recommended that you test acrylic, nylon or other synthetic fabrics in a hidden area to ensure these fabrics are not damaged by hot steam.

  1. Hang the garment to be steamed on a clothes hanger.

  2. The steamer can be used without the attachment or choose one of the 3 attachments included in the set.
    The attachment for thick fabrics (10) is used to iron or refresh clothes such as jackets, coats and other clothing items made of thicker materials. The dirt removal attachment (11) is used to remove dust, hair, fur or other small dirt from clothes. The fabric attachment (12) is intended for ironing delicate fabrics such as silk, wool, cotton or other delicate materials that may require special attention.
    Warning: always allow the garment steamer to cool down before adding or removing the brush attachment from the steam head.

  3. Place the clothes steamer on a flat, stable surface and connect it to the mains power supply.

  4. Press the switch (1). The clothes steamer will start to heat up and the heating light (2) will flash for 30 seconds, after which it will stop flashing and the steamer will reach the required temperature.

  5. To start steaming, point the steamer towards the fabric, maintaining a certain distance. Select one of the steam levels, press the steam function button (5) and start ironing. You can keep the steam button pressed all the time, or slide the steam lock (6) down, steam will come out automatically. Carefully iron the garment in long, straight down strokes, removing any wrinkles or wrinkles creases.

  6. After ironing the clothes, release the steam function button (5) and then turn off the steamer by pressing and holding the switch (1). Disconnect the steamer from the mains power supply.

  7. Empty the water tank (7).

Warnings:

  • Never point the steam jet at garments being worn, or at people or animals.
  • Do not hold the garment steamer by any other part of the unit except the handle.
  • During operation, the garment steamer will get very hot. Please take maximum care.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

After use it, please remove the water tank, empty the water tank completely, and then return the water tank to its place.
Before cleaning the garment steamer ensure it is unplugged from the power supply and has completely cooled down.
Do not use abrasive cleaners.
To clean exterior surfaces, use a damp soft cloth and wipe dry. Do not use any chemical solvents, as these will damage the surface.
Before storing in a cool, dry place, check that the garment steamer and any accessories are cool, clean and dry.
Never wrap the cord tightly around the garment steamer; wrap it loosely to avoid causing damage.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Problem Possible Cause Solution

The garment steamer is not heating up.
The power indicator light is not illuminating| The garment steamer is not plugged into the mains power supply.| Plug in and switch on the garment steamer at the mains power supply.
No steam is being emitted from the garment steamer.| There is insufficient water remaining in the water tank.| Fill the water to at least the min fill mark and not beyond the max.
The appliance has not reached the required temperature.| Plug the garment steamer at the mains power supply and allow it to preheat sufficiently. This should take approx. 30 seconds.
The steam trigger is not held down.| Hold down the stream trigger.
The garment steamer is making an abnormal sound| The water tank is not securely locked.| Make sure that the water tank is securely pushed into place.
The water tank is empty.| Refill the water tank to the max fill level.

PRODUCT DISPOSAL

This product complies with European Directive 2012/19/EU on electrical and electronic devices, known as WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment), provides the legal framework applicable in the European Union for the disposal and reuse of waste electronic and electrical devices. Do not dispose of this product in the bin, instead going to the electrical and electronic waste collection centre closest to your home.

WARRANTY REPORT

B&B TRENDS, S.L. guarantees compliance of this product for the use for which it is intended for a period of two years. In the case of breakdown during the term of this warranty, users are entitled to repair or else the replacement of the product at no charge if the former is unavailable, unless one of these options proves impossible to fulfill or is disproportionate. In this case, you can then opt for a reduction in price or cancellation of the sale, which must be dealt with directly with the sales vendor. This also covers replacement of spare parts provided that the product has been used according to the recommendations specified in this manual for both cases, and has not been tampered with by any third party that is not authorised by B&B TRENDS, S.L. The warranty will not cover any parts subject to wear and tear.
This warranty does not affect your rights as a consumer in accordance with the provisions in Directive 1999/44/EC for member states of the European Union.

USE OF WARRANTY

Customers must contact a B&B TRENDS, S.L. authorised Technical Service for repair of the product.
Since any tampering of the same by anyone not authorised by B&B TRENDS, S.L., or the careless or improper use of the same shall render this warranty null and void. The warranty must be fully completed and delivered along with the receipt or delivery docket for the effective exercise of rights under this warranty.
This warranty should be retained by the user as well as the invoice, receipt or the delivery docket to facilitate the exercise of these rights. For technical service and after-sales care outside the Polish territory, please submit your query to the point of sale where you purchased the item or check for further aftersales information at www.zelmer.com
