Product Usage Instructions

Installation:

  1. Pull out the product from the packaging.
  2. Remove the protective covering before use.
  3. Place the product on a stable surface.

Overview

INSTRUCTION FOR USE

The device is powered on and enters the pairing state

  1. When using it for the first time, please tear off the protective film on the surface of the product
  2. Pull out the insulating paper, and hear the sound of “dropping”, indicates that the product has entered the pairable state.
    • If the insulating paper is difficult to pull out, you can use the white disassembling piece to open the case, remove the white disassembling piece and place it on the battery cover, rotate the rear cover counterclockwise to open the battery cover and remove the insulating tab and put it back on the battery the way it was intended to be, and then slide the battery cover clockwise to close it completely.

Find and bind your product
Please make sure that you have an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iOS 14.5 or iPadOS 14.5 or later and two-factor authentication enabled.

  1. Turn on【Bluetooth】 on your Apple device, and go to【Settings】 -【Privacy & Security】 – Turn on 【 Location Services】 and swipe down and tap 【FindMy】 to allow access to the location and turn on 【Precise Location】.
  2. Goes back to the main screen of the Apple device, click the the【FindMy】 app, and then select the 【Item】 tab.
  3. Click 【+】, and then click 【Add Other Items】.
  4. Find the item name “MOMAX BR10”, click 【Connect】, fill in the “Name Item” custom product name, and click【Continue】”Choose an emoji”, click to continue to show “This item is linked to your Apple ID”, please check that the email address and mobile phone number are correct, then tap 【Agree】, and then tap 【Finish】 to add successfully.

SETUP THE LOST MODE

  1. When the base station is a certain distance away from the console, you need to turn on the lost mode to mark the item as lost. Tap Item at the bottom of the screen, then tap the name of the missing item. Under Lost Mode, tap Enable.
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions and enter a phone number where you can be contacted, or if you want to enter an email address instead, tap Use email address. Then press Enable.

Note:
Please make sure to allow notifications from the Find My app first.

View the locator location on the map

  1. Open the Find My app, then click the Items tab. Select the locator you want to locate in the Items list. If the locator is within the coverage area of your device or the Find My network where the locator was recently detected, you can see it on the map. Below its name, you’ll see the location and time of the update.
  2. If the base station is not within range of your device or any device on the Find My network, you can see its last known location and time. If you want to receive notifications when the tracker comes within range of your device or can be detected by the [Find My] network, please turn on [Notify when found] under [Notifications].

PLAY A SOUND

  1. Open the 【FindMy】app, select the 【Item】tab, and click the product you need to use, the mobile phone interface will display the the【Play Sound】button, click the 【Play Sound】button, and then you will hear a piece of music, indicating that the product can be used normally.
    • When the device and the product are out of distance, the【Find My】app cannot connect to the product and the product cannot play sound normally.

Prevent unauthorized tracking

  1. If any of the locators and other Find My network accessory products leave their owners and move with you for a while, you can send a notification to your Apple through the Find My app device, and be able to observe the walking path as you move and in time.
  2. These features are designed to prevent people from trying to track you without your knowledge, so if you feel your safety is at risk, contact your local law enforcement officer*.
    • This product has a function to prevent unauthorized tracking, and should not be used to track others, nor should it be used to track property that does not belong to you. In many countries and regions around the world, it is an offense to use these products to track someone without their consent.

REPLACE THE BATTERY

  1. Take out the white triangle “white disassembling piece” that comes with the package.
  2. Locate the slots on the back of the product.
  3. Take the white disassembling piece and place it in the slot on the back of the product, rotate counterclockwise to open the back cover.
  4. Remove the battery, replace it with the prepared new battery “CR2032 3V” and install the battery, after installing the battery, you can hear the product emit a “drop” sound, which means that the battery has been successfully replaced, and then place the lower cover in the rotating groove of the product, and rotate the back cover with the disassembling piece clockwise, so that it remains closed. Then place the lower cover at the rotating slot of the product and turn it clockwise with the disassembling piece to keep it closed.

Except for the disassembly tool, any knife and screwdriver are not recommended as auxiliary tools to avoid damaging the product shell or appearance.

PRODUCT RESET

  • When you need to replace/unbind the product bound to your Apple device, in the 【Find My】 app, in the 【Item】 tab, find the product that needs to be unbound, slide to the bottom of the page, click 【 Remove Item】, click 【Remove】, and click 【 Remove】 again to confirm that the product is no longer available in the 【Item】 tab.
  • Repeat the above steps of “replacing the battery”, take out the battery, put in the battery, and hear a “Di” sound. After repeating the operation 5 times, a “Di Di” sound will be emitted when installing the battery, indicating that the product has been reset and is ready to connect to a new device.
  • If you are unable to use the base station, make sure the product is ready to be set up, remove and replace the battery, place the base station close to the portable device you want to connect to, or reset the product before attempting to connect the base station.
    • If you physically reset the product before unbinding, it will take longer for the Apple device to remove the product.
