IoT Universal IR Remote (SL10S)

This IoT universal IR remote would be able to replace all IR remote control for home appliances such as TV, Air-conditioner, TV box, light, Fan,Audio, etc. User can remotely control these devices via App, also you can monitor the real- time temperature and humidity reading on App.

Quick Start Guide

  1. Download ‘MOMAX Smart’ APP
    • Download “MOMAX Smart” from iOS App Store, Android Google Play Store or other platforms. Then, enable the Bluetooth function on your phone.
  2. Register
    • Register an account and log in using your mobile number or email address.
  3. Wireless Pairing
    • Mobile: Turn on the Bluetooth and connect with 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi network from mobile.
    • Device: Connect USB power with the product, please make sure the LED indicator is blinking rapidly. if not, hold the reset button for about 5s till indicator blink rapidly.
    • APP: Click “+”, then tap “IoT universal IR remote ” to add device.
    • Enter the SSID and password for 2.4Ghz WiFi connection and then press Next button.
    • This product cannot be paired directly through the Bluetooth list of the mobile phone.
    • The pairing process may take 2 minutes, please do not perform other operation.
  4. Successfully connected
    • Once the connection is completed, you can edit the name of the product.

FAQ

1. What devices can be controlled with IR remote control?| User can control TV, Air-conditioner, Fan, DVD, TV box, Light, Set-top box, Audio, Projector, Water Heater, Air purifier, etc., for those devices using 38KHz Infrared Frequency signal.

2. When the temperature and humidity on the App is more accurate?| After the first setup, Please wait 30 minutes until the reading to be close to actual ambient environment. Keep it away from any heat source.
3. What should i do when device configuration process fail?| 1) Check whether the product is powered on or not.

  1. Check whether your mobile phone is connected to 2.4GHz wifi network and turn on Bluetooth.

  2. Check your network connectivity, make sure the Wi-Fi router is working properly.

  3. Make sure the wifi password is correct.

4. The IR remote can go through walls or be used to control devices in upstairs/downstairs rooms?| IR (infrared) cannot penetrate walls or obstacles, It is recommended to ensure there are no obstacles between the remote and the device being controlled when using IR remote control.
 | Please check the following:

 | 1) IR remote network is in good condition Click any key on the remote- control panel on the app and check whether the indicator light starts flashing. If it flashes, it indicates to work properly.
5. What should we do when we can not use IR remote to control device?| 2) There are no obstacles or barriers between the IR remote and the device.

  1. Make sure the desired remote control of electric device is IR signal controller. For testing , You can cover the top of the IR remote with hand or any objects, then press any keys of the remote control, if the device does not response, it is IR based. Otherwise, it is Bluetooth or RF based remote control.

6. How many IR subdevices can be added into one single account on app?| One single APP account can add 200
devices ( including product itself) , and
hence an IoT universal IR remote can add up to 199 infrared red sub-devices.

Warranty Conditions

  1. For any defect, in the judgment of our technician, caused under normal use, we are responsible for repairing free of charge 12 months commencing from the date of purchase at the discretion of our company;
  2. A valid warranty card and original purchase invoice must be presented upon request of warranty service;
  3. This warranty card shall not apply to the product if:
    • It is consumable part(s), such as Filter, or;
    • it has explicitly modified or repaired in any way by persons other than technicians of this company, or;
    • it has been damaged through misuse, malicious acts, negligence, the inflow of any liquid, or;
    • losses or damages are caused by force majeure or natural disasters.
  4. No alteration to this warranty card will be allowed;
