Product Usage Instructions

BASIC OPERATIONS:
To cycle through the CHRONO, TIMER, and ALARM modes, press MODE.Press INDIGLO to illuminate the watch face. Press any button to stop alarm or timer beeps.

ANALOG TIME SETTING:
Pull the CROWN and turn to set HOUR and MINUTE hands.

TIME AND DATE SETTING:

  1. Press and hold SET. SECONDS digits will flash.
  2. Use SPLIT/RESET to set SECONDS to zero.
  3. Press MODE to select HOURS and advance the digits.
  4. Repeat for setting MINUTES, MONTH, DATE, DAY, and time display format.
  5. Press SET when done.

CHRONOGRAPH USAGE:

  1. Press MODE until CHRONO appears.
  2. Use START/STOP to start and pause the chrono.
  3. Press SPLIT/RESET to record lap time.
  4. Press and hold SPLIT/RESET to reset chrono.

COUNTDOWN TIMER USAGE:

  1. Select TIMER mode by pressing MODE.
  2. Use SPLIT/RESET to choose timer operation.
  3. Set HOURS, MINUTES, and SECONDS using SPLIT/RESET.
  4. Press START/STOP to start the timer.

ALARM AND CHIME SETTINGS:

  1. Select ALARM mode by pressing MODE.
  2. Set alarm hours and minutes using SPLIT/RESET.
  3. Press START/STOP to turn the alarm on or off.

WATER RESISTANCE:
If your watch is water-resistant, the meter marking or symbol is indicated. Follow these guidelines to maintain water-resistance:

  • Do not press any buttons underwater.
  • Rinse the watch with fresh water after exposure to saltwater.
  • Avoid using the watch for diving purposes.

WARNING

  • INGESTION HAZARD: This product contains a button cell or coin battery.
  • A swallowed button cell or coin battery can cause Internal Chemical Burns in as little as 2 hours.
  • Seek immediate medical attention if the battery is suspected lo be swallowed or inserted inside any part of the body.
  • Remove and immediately recycle or dispose of used batteries according to local regulations and keep them away from children. Do NOT dispose of batteries in household trash or incinerate them.
  • Even used batteries may cause severe injury or death.
  • Call a local poison control center for treatment information.
  • Battery type : lithium metal, CR1616.
  • Nominal battery voltage : 3.0 V
  • Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
  • Do not force discharge, recharge, disassemble, heat above 158°F (70ºC) or incinerate. Doing so may result in injury due to venting, leakage or explosion resulting in chemical burns.
  • Ensure the batteries are installed correctly according to polarity (+ and -).
  • Do not mix old and new batteries, different brands or types of batteries, such as alkaline, carbon zinc, or rechargeable batteries.
  • Remove and immediately recycle or dispose of batteries from equipment not used for an extended period of time according to local regulations.
  • Always completely secure the battery compartment. If the battery compartment does not close securely, stop using the product, remove the batteries, and keep them away from children.

BASIC OPERATIONS

Press MODE to cycle through the CHRONO, TIMER, and ALARM modes. Press INDIGLO to illuminate the watch’s face. In any mode, press MODE to view the time display. Press any button to stop the alarm or timer beep

ANALOG TIME
Pull CROWN and turn to set HOUR and MINUTE hands.

TIME AND DATE

  1. Press and hold SET. SECONDS digits will flash.
  2. Press SPLIT/RESET to set SECONDS to zero.
  3. Press MODE to select HOURS.
  4. Press SPLIT/RESET to advance hours digits. Go through 12 hours for AM or PM.
  5. Press MODE to select MINUTES, and press SPLIT/RESET to advance.
  6. Repeat to set MONTH, DATE, DAY, 12- or 24-hour time display.
  7. Press SET when done.

CHRONOGRAPH

  1. Press MODE until CHRONO appears.
  2. Press START/STOP to start.
  3. Press SPLIT/RESET to record lap time. Display pauses.
  4. Press MODE to resume the display of lap and split time (automatic after 10 seconds).
  5. Press START/STOP to pause Chrono.
  6. Press START/STOP to resume.
  7. Press START/STOP to stop.
  8. When timing is stopped, press SPLIT/RESET repeatedly to recall last eight lap and split times.
  9. Press and hold SPLIT/RESET to reset chrono.

COUNTDOWN TIMER

  1. Press MODE until TIMER appears.
  2. Press SPLIT/RESET to select timer operation (Countdown and Stop; Countdown and Repeat; Countdown and Start chrono).
  3. Press SET. HOURS digits will flash. Press SPLIT/RESET to advance digits.
  4. Press MODE to select TENS of MINUTES. Press SPLIT/RESET to advance.
  5. Repeat to set MINUTES, TENS of SECONDS, and SECONDS.
  6. Press SET when done.
  7. Press START/STOP to start the timer.
  8. Press START/STOP to pause, and press again to resume.
  9. When timer is stopped, press SPLIT/RESET to reset the timer. The watch will beep when the countdown reaches zero.

ALARM AND CHIME

  1. Press MODE until ALARM appears.
  2. Press SET to select HOURS. Digits will flash.
  3. Press SPLIT/RESET to advance digits. Go through 12 hours for AM or PM.
  4. Press MODE to select TENS of MINUTES.
  5. Press SPLIT/RESET to advance. Repeat for MINUTES.
  6. Press SET when done.
  7. Press START/STOP to turn the alarm on or off.
  8. Press SPLIT/RESET to turn chime on or off.

When alarm time is reached, watch will beep for 20 seconds, or until any button is pushed. The alarm will repeat every 24 hours until deactivated.

INDIGLO® NIGHT-LIGHT WITH NIGHT-MODE® FEATURE

  1. Press INDIGLO to activate light. Patented (U.S. Patent Numbers 4,527,096 and 4,775,964) electroluminescent technology used in the INDIGLO® night-light illuminates watch face at night and in low light conditions.
  2. Press and hold INDIGLO for three seconds (a beep will sound) to activate or de-activate NIGHT-MODE® feature.
  3. While in the NIGHT-MODE® feature, press any button to illuminate watch face for 3 second

WATER RESISTANCE

If your watch is water-resistant, meter marking or is indicated.

BUTTONS UNDER WATER.

  1. The watch is water-resistant only as long as a lens, push buttons and case remain intact.
  2. The watch is not a diver watch and should not be used for diving.
  3. Rinse watch with fresh water after exposure to salt water.
  4. Shock resistance will be indicated on the watch face or case back.

Watches are designed to pass ISO test for shock resistance. However, care whould be taken to avoid damaging crystals.
