Product Usage Instructions

Installation:

Ensure the power line is properly connected to reduce the possibility of shock.
Mount the alarm enclosure in a suitable indoor location.
Connect the float switch to the designated terminal without applying power.
Place the alarm horn where it can be heard clearly in case of an alarm condition.

Operation

To operate the liquid level alarm system:

Ensure the power cord is connected to a suitable power source.
If the water level reaches the set high or low levels, the alarm will activate.

A: No, this alarm system is designed for indoor use only.

This alarm system monitors liquid levels in lift pump chambers, sump pump basins, holding tanks, sewage, agricultural, and other water applications.
The Tank Alert® I alarm system can serve as a high or low level alarm depending on the float switch model used.
The alarm horn sounds when a potentially threatening liquid level condition occurs. The horn can be silenced, but the warning light remains on until the condition is remedied. A green “power on” light indicates power to the alarm panel.

Switching mechanism operates on low voltage and is isolated from the power line to reduce the possibility of shock

Alternate float switch models for high or low level warning
120 VAC primary voltage or 230 VAC primary voltage (230 VAC model is not UL Listed or CSA Certified)

CONTROL SWITCH OPTIONS

The Tank Alert® I alarm system comes standard with a 15 foot SJE SignalMaster® control switch with mounting clamp. Other float switches are available. See control switch section of the catalog. To determine the price of alarm with an alternate float, add the price of the part number with “no float” to the price of the float switch.
