Product Usage Instructions

First Use
Before using the steam iron, make sure to follow these steps

  1. Unroll the cable completely.
  2. Set the temperature regulator to 0.
  3. Select the appropriate ironing temperature based on the fabric type.

Handling the Product
To iron without steam, follow these steps

  1. Place the iron on its base.
  2. Adjust the steam regulator to the O position.
  3. Set the temperature regulator to the desired level based on fabric type.
  4. Wait for the control lamp to turn off before starting ironing.

Steam Ironing
For steam ironing, follow these steps

  1. Select the appropriate amount of steam using the steam knob.
  2. Press the steam button for a steam stroke.

Filling the Water Tank
To fill the water tank for steam ironing
Fill the tank halfway with water.

Cleaning and Storage
After each use, ensure to clean and store the steam iron properly

General Safety Instructions

  1. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must never play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance must never be carried out by children without supervision.

Other specific safeguards

  • The iron must not be left unattended while it is connected to the supply mains.
  • Remove the plug from the socket before filling the appliance with water.

  • When you have finished ironing, when you clean the appliance, when you fill or empty the water tank and also when you leave the iron even for a short while: set the steam control to position 0, put the iron on its heel and remove the mains plug from the wall socket.

FIRST USE

  • Clean the soleplate with a damp cloth.
  • Fill the water tank through the filler opening (6). Help yourself with a container filling. If possible, use distilled water or tap water to clear the water hardness 2. If your water has higher grades, use only distilled water.
  • Water battery water from the clothes dryer and water with additives (such as starch, perfume, fabric softeners and other chemicals) should not fill in the water tank. The device will be damaged, as this may result in residues in the steam tank. These residues, to escape the steam outlet openings, could dirty clothes ready for ironing.

HANDLING THE PRODUCT

  • Attention: only iron clothes with this device.
  • Remove the possible anti-abrasion labels that may have the product in the soleplate of before using the appliance leaves.
  • Please unwind the cable completely.

IRON WITHOUT STEAM (REGULATED STEAM IN POSITION “ O ” )

  • Place the device on top of its base (9).
  • Adjust the regulator of the amount of steam (4) to the “O” position (the position is selected by orienting the roulette icon that you want towards the buttons ).
  • Always set the temperature regulator (1) to the “0” position, before connecting the appliance to the socket.
  • Select the clothes by ironing temperatures. Start with the lowest temperature. Adjust the temperature with the temperature regulator (1):
Nylon Low temperature
• • Rayon, Wool Medium temperature
• • • Cotton High temperature
MAX Linen Maximum temperature
  • The control lamp (2) lights up. When it turns off, the temperature for ironing has been reached. Now you can start ironing.
  • After each use, remove the plug from the socket.

STEAM IRONING

ATTENTION: STEAM IS REALLY HOT. DANGER OF BURNS
A high temperature (cotton, flax) is needed. You can adjust the amount of steam to the steam knob (4).

Impulse steam
For the steam stroke, then press the button (5) with the icon ****, which is identified and corresponds to the left looking at the iron from the back

When ironing at low temperatures (minimum temperature level “• •“), make sure that you reduce the quantity of steam or iron without steam. If the temperature is too low, water may leak from the soleplate.

FILLING THE WATER TANK

  • Remove the power plug before filling water.
  • Adjust governor of the amount of steam (4) to “ O ” (no steam) position. Open the cover of the filler opening (6) and carefully pour water. Fill the water tank only to the MAX mark.

SPRAYER
To moisten a space, press the button (5) on the icon of , which is identified and corresponds to the right looking at the iron from the back.

VERTICAL STEAM

  • You can use the steam function vertically.
  • Note: To prevent the escape of excess water from the soleplate, operate the steam boost button no more than 5 seconds without interruption.
  • Warning: steam is hot. Danger of burns!
  • When ironing at low temperatures, take care to reduce the amount of steam or iron without steam. Selecting too low temperatures is normal to catch water from the soleplate.

SELF-CLEANING

  • Half fill the water tank with water.
  • Heat the machine up to its maximum temperature. After the control lamp goes off remove the machine from the mains supply.
  • Now hold the iron horizontally over a sink. Turn the steam quantity control to the ****“ position and pull it out.
  • Now rock the device backwards and forwards until the tank is empty. Reinsert the control, paying attention to the guide mechanism.
  • Then return the regulator to the “ O “ position.
  • Place the machine back on its stand and heat it up again. To clean the base, now iron over a clean cotton cloth.

CLEANING AND STORAGE

  • Always disconnect the appliance before cleaning and let it get cold.
  • Clean the outside with a dry cloth.
  • Clean the soleplate with a damp cloth.
  • After use, place the regulator always the amount of steam to the position “ O ” and empty the water to avoid spilling of the contents of the tank.
