This is a universal-belted enhanced child restraint system. It is approved under UN Regulation No. 129 for use mainly in “universal seating positions” as specified by the vehicle manufacturer in the vehicle user manual. In case of doubt, consult the manufacturer or dealer of the enhanced child restraint system.
IMPORTANT: Universal belled enhanced child restraint system approved according to Regulation ECE R129, for children under 15 months, between 40 and 85 cm in height with a maximum weight of 13 kg. -
This car seat is approved for use with the following types of installation methods: REAR-FACING INSTALLATION: ECE R129/03 Universal belt ECRS, rear-facing from 40-87cm and child weight:S13 kg., with adult safety belt;
- Appropriate only if the approved vehicles are equipped with three-point / retractor safety belts approved under UNECE Regulation N2 16 or other equivalent standards.
- DO NOT use the device in seating positions where an active frontal airbag is installed!
Safety instructions!
The instructions for use must be kept for the entire life of the universal child restraint system!
- ATTENTION! The hard items and plastic parts of the enhanced child restraint system must be placed and installed so that, when the motor vehicle is in normal operation, it cannot be trapped by a sliding seat or vehicle door.
- ATTENTION I All belts that secure the restraint system to the vehicle must be taut, all belts that restrain the child must be adjusted to the child’s body. The belts should not be twisted.
- ATTENTION! It is extremely important to ensure that the lap belt is used low down so that the pelvis is secure.
- ATTENTION! II is recommended that the device be replaced when it has been subjected to violent mechanical stress in an accident.
- ATTENTION! It is dangerous to make alterations or additions to the device without the approval of the type approval authority. Failure to follow exactly the installation instructions provided by the manufacturer of the child restraint system can be hazardous.
- ATTENTION! When the chair is not equipped with a fabric cover, it should be kept away from sunlight, as it may otherwise be too hot for the child’s skin.
- ATTENTION! Do not leave children unattended in an enhanced child restraint system.
- ATTENTION I Properly secure any luggage or other items that may cause injury in the event of a collision!
- ATTENTION! Do not use the enhanced child restraint system without its cover!
- ATTENTION! Do not replace the cover of the enhanced child restraint system with anything other than that recommended by the manufacturer, as the cover is integral to the performance of the child restraint system.

- ATTENTION! The ,.JOY” car seat is compatible with strollers REYA.
- ATTENTION I When using the car seat: This product s not meant to replace a cot or a bed for sleeping. If your child needs to sleep, you needgacethem in a suitable carrycot, cot or bed.
- ATTENTION! Regularly check the belts for wear, paying special attention to the attachment points, the guards and the adjusting devices!
- ATTENTION! Do not leave the buckle partially closed, it should be locked when all parts are engaged. You must be able to remove the child from the seat immediately in the event of an emergency. Your child should be taught never to play with the buckle.
- ATTENTION Store the child seat in a safe place out of the reach of children when not in use. Avoid placing heavy objects on the seat. Do not allow your car seat to come into contact with corrosive substances like battery acid.
- ATTENTION I Do not keep your child on this safety seat for a long time. During long journeys, take more breaks and remove the child from the safety seat.
- ATTENTION! The images on the front page and inside the manual are for illustrative purposes and may differ from the actual product.
- ATTENTION! Before the first use of the product, remove all marketing materials, as well as the devices used to attach them to the product.
- ATTENTION! Do not use the enhanced child restraint system if the buckle position of the adult seat belt for the seat’s main anchor points is unsatisfactory, please contact the manufacturer if in doubt.
- ATTENTION! DO NOT use anchor points other than those described in the instructions and marked on the enhanced child restraint system, please contact the manufacturer if doubt.
WASHING INSTRUCTIONS
- The car seat can be cleaned with lukewarm water and soap. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents such as abrasives or solvents.
- The cover must be hand-washed at a maximum temperature of 30’C. Do not put it in the dryer. Allow the cover to air-dry.
- Plastic parts can be cleaned with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasives.
- Never use lubricant or solvent on any part of the seat.
TYPE OF APPROVED BELTS YOU MUST HAVE IN YOUR CAR
Your child seat can be installed ONLY using a 3-point belt, in a position away from the direction of travel!
- Can be installed ONLY on seats WITH 3-POINT
- BELTS! IT CANNOT BE USED ON SEATS WITH 2-POINT BELTS!

STRAP LENGTH ADJUSTMENT
- Loosening the straps: Press the strap adjustment button and at the same time pull the two shoulder straps (Picture 1)
- Press the red button on the buckle to release the shoulder straps (Picture 2)
- Place the soft insert in the seat first, and then the child (Picture 3, 4, 5).
- Fasten the two interlocking elements in the central buckle (Picture 6, 8). The position of the straps should be slightly above the child’s shoulders (Picture 7). Pull the seat strap to tighten the shoulder straps. (Picture 9).
INSTALLING THE CHILD SEAT TO THE SEAT OF THE CAR
- Please use the car’s 3-point seat belts to ensure the safety of the child and secure the car seat!
- Your child seat can be installed ONLY using a 3-point belt, in a position away from the direction of travel!
- Step 1. Place the child in the seat. Check the height of the shoulder straps. Make sure the straps are not twisted or caught anywhere. Fasten the child’s harness straps, making sure they are securely in place. Pull the strap in the center of the seat to tighten them.
- Step 2. Place the child seat on the car seat (Picture 10) “away from the direction of travel”, making sure it is snug against the backrest. If your car has an airbag on the passenger seats, the car seat should only be used on the rear seats that do not have an airbag!
- Step 3. Pass the lap belt through the two guides on the side of the child seat (Picture 11).
- Pull the shoulder belt so that it wraps around the child seat and place it in the guide on the back of the child seat (Picture 12). Fasten the belt into the vehicle buckle until you hear a “click” (Picture 13).
- Step 4. Make sure the shoulder belt is tightened and the child seat is securely fastened to the car seat (Picture 14).
ADJUSTING THE CARRY HANDLE
- The carry handle can be adjusted in 4 different positions.
- To adjust it, simultaneously press the red buttons on both sides and turn.
- upright-carrying function. (Picture 16 – position A)
- fixed horizontally – swing function. (Picture 16 – position B, C)
- fixed down behind the back – function for feeding the child. (Picture 16 – position D) Before carrying your child in the seat, make sure that the handle is fixed in the selected position, the belts are correctly fitted and the buckle is fastened properly.
INSTALLATION ON A STROLLER FRAME

Installing the seat – insert the adapters (not included in the kit Picture 17) into the holders on both sides of the frame, bearing in mind the difference between the left and right sides. You should hear a CLICK (Picture 18). Centre the holes in the seat over the already installed adapters (Picture 19). Push the seat into them until you hear a CLICK again.
Check that the seat is securely locked by lifting it by the handle.
WARNING: The car seat should only be installed facing the parents, as shown in Picture 20. -
Removing the seat- you can remove the seat from the adapters by simultaneously pressing the red buttons under the cover (Picture 21) on both sides of the seat. Pull the seat up to release it from the adapters
Removing the cover
- Removing the canopy-press the plastic buttons on both sides (Picture22) and pull it up.
- Removing the cover release the straps from the buckle, and remove the pads and inserts (Picture 23,24, 25). Detach and pull out the main cover of the seat. (Picture 26)
- Replace the cover by following the steps in reverse order, observing the sequence.
