Product Usage Instructions
Battery Installation
- Ensure the unit is turned off.
- Locate the battery cover on the back of the unit and use a screwdriver to open it.
- Remove old batteries and install 3 new AA batteries following the diagram inside the battery box.
- Close the battery cover and secure it with the screw.
- Warning: Adult assembly is required for battery installation. Keep batteries away from children.

INTRODUCTION
Thank you for purchasing the My 1st Record Player!
Drop on a record and get ready to groove to the tunes! This retro inspired
record player features five double-sided records showcasing jazz, techno,
country, pop, and hip hop songs and music. Dance with the kitty, slide the paw
clicker and play music while you bop to the beats.

WARNING
All packing materials such as tape, plastic sheets, packaging locks, removable
tags, cable ties, cords and packaging screws are not part of this toy, and
should be discarded for your child’s safety.
NOTE
Please save this Instruction Manual as it contains important information.
NOTE
This product is in Try-Me mode in the packaging. After opening the package,
please turn the My 1st Record Player off then on again to proceed with normal
play.
Unlock the Packaging Locks
- Rotate the packaging lock 90 degrees anticlockwise.
- Pull out the packaging locks and discard.
GETTING STARTED
Battery Removal and Installation
- Make sure the unit is turned Off.
- Locate the battery cover on the back of the unit, use a screwdriver to loosen the screw and then open the battery cover
- Remove old batteries by pulling up on one end of each battery.
- Install 3 AA (AM-3/LR6) batteries following the diagram inside the battery box. (For best performance, alkaline batteries or fully charged Ni-MH rechargeable batteries are recommended.)
- Replace the battery cover and tighten the screw to secure.
WARNING
Adult assembly required for battery installation. Keep batteries out of reach
of children.
IMPORTANT: BATTERY INFORMATION
- Insert batteries with the correct polarity (+ and -).
- Do not mix old and new batteries.
- Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable batteries.
- Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended are to be used.
- Do not short-circuit the supply terminals.
- Remove batteries during long periods of non-use.
- Remove exhausted batteries from the toy.
- Dispose of batteries safely. Do not dispose of batteries in fire.
RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES
- Remove rechargeable batteries (if removable) from toy before charging.
- Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision.
- Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.
Disposal of batteries and product
The crossed-out wheelie bin symbols on products and batteries, or on their
respective packaging, indicates they must not be disposed of in domestic waste
as
they contain substances that can be damaging to the environment and human
health.
The chemical symbols Hg, Cd or Pb, where marked, indicate that the battery contains more than the specified value of mercury (Hg), cadmium (Cd) or lead (Pb) set out in the Batteries and Accumulators Regulation.
- The solid bar indicates that the product was placed on the market after 13th August, 2005.
- Please dispose of your product and batteries responsibly.
- In the UK, give this toy a second life by disposing of it at a small electricals collection point* so all of its materials can be recycled.

PRODUCT FEATURES

On/Off Switch
To turn the unit On, slide the On/Off Switch located on the back of the unit to the On position. You will hear a short tune, a cute phrase and sounds. To turn the unit Off, slide the On/Off Switch to the Off position. -
Volume Dial
Turn the Volume Dial to adjust the volume to the desired level. -
Storage Compartment
When you have finished using the record player, we recommend storing the records in the Storage Compartment on the back of the record player to prevent the records from getting lost. -
Automatic Shut-Off
To preserve battery life, the My 1st Record Player will automatically power down after approximately 70 seconds without input. The unit can be turned on again by pressing any button, opening the Lid or moving the Player Arm.
NOTE
If the unit powers down, the light fades out, or the turntable slows or stops
turning during play, please install a new set of batteries.
ACTIVITIES

1. Turntable
Place a Record on the Turntable, then slide the Player Arm over the record to activate it and hear it play. A sung song or a phrase and melody will play on Side A. Animal sounds, a phrase and melodies will play on Side B. The lights will flash with the sounds and the kitty will sway to the music.

Kitty Button
Press the Kitty Button when a record is activated on the turntable to hear the pictured animal identified. If there is no record on the turntable or the record is not activated, the kitty will say fun phrases. The lights will flash with the sounds. -
Next Button
Press the Next Button when a record is activated on the turntable to play the next phrase, song, short tune or melody. If there is no record on the turntable or the record is not activated you will hear phrases to encourage play. The lights will flash with the sounds. -
Record Player Lid
Open the Lid to hear a song, a phrase and a sound. Close the Lid to hear a short tune. The lights will flash with the sounds.

CARE & MAINTENANCE
- Keep the unit clean by wiping it with a slightly damp cloth.
- Keep the unit out of direct sunlight and away from any direct heat sources.
- Remove the batteries if the unit will not be in use for an extended period of time.
- Do not drop the unit on hard surfaces and do not expose the unit to moisture or water.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If for some reason the program/activity stops working or malfunctions, please follow these steps
- Please turn the unit Off.
- Interrupt the power supply by removing the batteries.
- Let the unit stand for a few minutes, then replace the batteries.
- Turn the unit On. The unit should now be ready to play with again.
- If the unit still does not work, install a new set of batteries.
