Product Usage Instructions

Connecting

  1. Stereo output Left (L) and Right (R).
  2. Aerial input 75 Ohms.
  3. General power plug.
  4. ON/OFF switch.

Details of Functions

  • Memory function: Memorize up to 20 channels.
  • Previous & next channel in memory.
  • Stereo reception mode: Choose between Mono or Stereo mode.
  • Auto SCAN keys: Scan the band by 0.5 MHz steps or start auto SCAN.

Display

  • Stereo mode reception light.
  • Number of the memorized channel.
  • Stations frequency or channel name (RDS signal dependent).

Memorization of Channels
The process of memorization can be done with keys MEM, CHAN & + on the front panel or with the remote control. You can memorize up to 20 channels.

Cancelling a Memorized Channel
To cancel a memorized channel, while in Stand-by mode, hold the MEM key on the front panel until MEM CLR appears on the display.
All memories will be canceled.

CAUTIONS

  • Do not make any connections when your device is powered on.
  • Put your Tuner in a dry and well ventilated place, far from a source of heat.
  • Do not put anything on your Tuner.
  • Avoid any short-cut.
  • In the event of a problem, never attempt to repair, disassemble, or rebuild the device, as this may cause severe electric shock.
  • Avoid operating your Tuner near a CD player as this may interfere with HF reception.

ADVISES

  • To optimize the performance of your device, you should switch it on at least half an hour before any listening, the time for the power stage to reach its ideal working temperature.
  • Your device will give you optimal listening quality after this time-lapse.
  • Between two uses, it is, therefore, preferable to let the device in the standby position so that it remains at its optimum temperature.
  • At night or when you leave your home, it is best to use the main switch to turn off the device.
  • To optimize the sound quality of your system, we recommend that you choose good-quality connection cords. Do not hesitate to ask your specialist dealer for advice.

  11. Auto SCAN keys: with a short press, you can scan the band by 0,5 MHz steps. A longer press starts the auto SCAN. The SCAN will stop at every station found.

  2. Stations frequency (or channel name: when the RDS signal gives the information, the display shows the name of the station after a few seconds).

Note: RDS signal can give only 8 characters.

MEMORIZATION OF CHANNELS

The process of memorization is made with keys MEM, CHAN – & + of the front panel or from the remote control. You can memorize 20 channels.

  • A– Place yourself on a frequency to program.

  • B– Press MEM.
    The number of channel twinkles:

  • C– Select the number of channel with keys CHAN or +. The number of channels increments automatically.

  • D– Press MEM to confirm.

HOW TO CANCEL A MEMORIZED CHANNEL

  • Select the channel to cancel. Then hold the key MEM on the front panel. The channel is canceled and “ERASED” appears on display.
  • It is also possible to cancel all the memorized channels. From your device on Stand-by mode, hold the key MEM on the front panel. ”MEM CLR” appears on the display. All memories are canceled.

WARRANTY CONDITIONS
The guarantee is two years period from date of purchase. We recommend you to ask your dealer to fill the guarantee and to conserve it. The guarantee is only available for appliance which have been use correctly.

CLEANING
Before any cleaning, switch off your device. Use a soft and dry rag to clean up the appliance. Never use acetone, white-spirit, ammoniac, or any kind of product containing an abrasive agent. Never try to clean up inside the appliance.
